I ve the Nvidia Shield. Naturally i want to bench. But i cant upload some benches, because CPU / GPU are not in Database. HWBot Prime works, but no validation, because no CPU found. Any Chance to update the Database and Hwbot Prime?

  4. Started by Bones,

I have a DBPower tablet that I'm not able to root so I can bench it. Has the Android 4.2 OS that it came with, the CPU is an Allwinner A31S Quad core. Here's a link to the tablet in question: http://www.dbpow.com/dbpad.html Information on this one has been all but non-existant but if anyone does know where I can get what I need to root the tablet, it would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Since I have very little understanding about Raspberry Pi and similar technology, let alone know how to overclock it, I'm looking for someone who is able to maintain these forums. If you ... love overclocking know tricks for Raspberry Pi want to see people get the most out of their Pi are okay with the English language have an infinite amount of patience and understanding ... you are the man or woman for this position! Give me a shout via PM and we'll take it from there!

Now since the ARM Overclocking Competition is over I want to show my tweaks here. To try them out make sure to set up your RPi with newest JAVA8 like Massman explained in his RPi Overclocking guide. Please do not start the GUI with startx. The first tweak will be to turn off everything which is not necessary (like sound and network if you don't want to watch youtube). Type $ ps -ef to see which processes are running. Now type the following to enter runlevel 1: $ sudo init 1 The Linux OS is now in single user mode and only processes which are necessary to keep the OS running are running. $ ps -ef Next, start the Benchmark and use the second tw…

Hey guys, So in the Raspberry Pi overclocking guide I published last weekend you can only find a run-down for 3D benching with HWBOT Prime. Of course the Raspberry Pi can also do 3D overclocking! So of course we want this too. So far there are not really any decent 3D benchmarks out there for ARM-based Linux devices, so we will have to stick with our regular game benchmarks. In this thread I will help you install the OpenArena benchmark. OpenArena is based on the Quake3 engine, so benchmarking is pretty much like it was ten years ago . 1) Install Openarena Log in to your Raspberry Pi, stay in command mode. Then run the following commands: $ sudo apt-get …
