For anyone who encounters the same error, switching BIOS chips and reflashing didn't help - I think my board has a hardware issue after many cold sessions. Secure boot / UEFI is broken, my workaround was to install an MBR version of Windows 10, after that everything worked. The BIOS flashback button is also broken, not sure if related. -

I have tested on Z790 Tachyon X with X1a, X7p and X7r, everything works fine with 14900ks. Zarok77 is also with 14900ks on his Tachyon without problems. Also on Z790 non X everything is fine with it. If you are on non X board, F3 Bios is pretty old, I would try new bios for KS last one is 2 days old with better support for 14900KS https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-AORUS-TACHYON-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios official bios versions for Tachyon X https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-AORUS-TACHYON-X/support#support-dl-bios -
This is one official beta-bios which you was able to download from official page in the past, but you can choose my download folder also https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z0zOxfzvIE6Hrj3SJ0yg95hhoR7vPWww/view?usp=drive_link I would download all beta-bios versions if you like to try it https://www.gigabyte.com/de/Motherboard/B650E-AORUS-TACHYON-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios

try 8200 c36-50-12-46-98 for daily. also 1.2v sa cpu 1.42 / 1.38 ram 1.55 / 1.51 assuming you talking about adie.... because if your kit is 48gb, make sure trfc is also set to 700 . good luck, you do not need to rma anything imho -

Hey Broken APEX49, Overclocking the RX6400 involves adjusting its core clock and memory speeds in your GPU control panel or BIOS settings. However, overclocking can void warranties and may not always yield significant performance gains. Ensure your system's cooling is adequate and monitor temperatures during overclocking. Use reputable software tools like MSI Afterburner or AMD Radeon Software for safe overclocking. If performance decreased with a specific driver, consider rolling back to a stable version or optimizing settings for better performance. You can also check out this thread on hwbot if you find the solution of your problem https://community.hwbot.org/topic/160183-asus-strix-rx460-xoc/page/2/ Thanks (James)

It says VDD2 1.474 however it is set to 1.450v in BIOS. Also, it says 1.155 for SA but it is set in BIOS to 1.14. I use X7o BIOS. Also, make sure you cool that mem well. Every silicon is a bit different but this would be your starting point. I would leave RAM to default XMP profile, 8000 speed. You can tweak it later. Almost forgot, set your timing for RAM -> Flare. Also, leave the CPU clock speed on AUTO. Do not overclock your CPU until you find a stable overclock for memory. I hope this helps. Leave low latency and high bandwidth options to AUTO. You don't need to have it enabled because you will tweak your timings manually later. -

Anyone else get this error when trying to boot from USB or SATA? Wondering if my board has some physical damage, I tried both BIOS chips and BIOS reflash but always the same error -
