PCMark05: Revodrive 3 X2 Performance
yeah good idea, with the maxiops I also had to secure erase it before the performance was nice, i never found the revodrive good for much more than harddrive startup, but its perfect for that

i7-3770K + ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z + LN2 = 6274 MHz
how about we ban any retails that are amazing too, like the ones stewie and you were playing with in the past? lets also ban mods to GPU, because after mods they are no longer available to buy from retail shops thats what the pro league is there for, so you can compete in whatever league you want and not complain for the sake of complaining just my 2c worth

i7-3770K + ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z + LN2 = 6274 MHz
i think you guys might be surprised and E1 might be better, you have to remember for the samples that have been binned so far, a large portion are E0, compared to a small portion E1, so simple maths would tell us there is a far greater chance of finding better clocking chips in the large E0 part of the pie, compared to the tiny E1 slice A0-fiasco blah, the only thing A0 ended up being better at was 32m, retail chips came through and clocked great

PCMark05 , keep or remove from hwbot.
its amazing how crazy pcmark05 is going now, so many submissions, makes me really happy to see others are enjoying this bench as much as me, its becoming the new 3dmark01... don't need the best cpu to win, highly tweakable, scales with memory/cpu/gpu + storage, a great mix of elements and i dont want to hear any complains about needing good storage, because to win superpi you need an amazing CPU or to win 3D you need a great GPU, both expensive if you need to buy multiple pieces... good work guys, especially SteveRo and all the Greek benchers taking the lead from the original Mr PcMark dinos111

Lucid Virtu MVP: Revolution in benching?
i think all the arguments about new software versions of lucid giving performance increases are debunked, remember vga driver updates often give big boosts in scores and we dont ban them, i many reasons NOT to use Hydra, after all, scores eventually get passed, weather its by a new platform, betterh CPU, vga driver or some new tweak... not adopting something because we have to rebench to keep our points or ranking the same is certainly not a reason not to adopt something the one negative thing i do see as a possibility of MVP is taking GPU clocking slightly out of the equation, benchmarks like heaven that are totally GPU dependant arnt affected, they still scale nicely with gpu clocks and MVP, but other benchmarks like 3dmark03 perhaps, that are a nice balance of GPU and CPU get skewed more towards CPU and this could make benching even more dependant on having a good CPU i dont want to see a benching community where you can take world records with a single card on air if you have a better CPU, but at the same time i dont want to be leaving behind 30%-100% performance that we could potentially be gaining, so its still a hard call for me as a gaming prospect though it is simply amazing and a serious revolution for anyone considering building a gaming rig

YoungPro hits 241k 3DMark03 1x7970 with Ivy
Ah the GPUs shows XP because it's in xp compat mode Maybe this score is 190k without MVP and gpu at stock clocks, Surely Francsoir is more focused on big media like Anandtech? Not sure why other media should be expected to wait when Anandtech doesn't wait, doesnt really concern me but just saying

Haha that driver version always shows as XP, os is win7 64bit

Gpu at stock, MVP very interesting... Makes GPU benchmarks more CPU reliant
