  2. Thanks lads one CPU is pending...
  3. I ran into issue when prepping the OS for the X79 setup. The just hook it up to the internet didn't work in the same way as with the Z87... I had to install a whole lot of updates before it started to work... Plz provide PJ with the log files which you can find here: C:\ProgramData\Intel\Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (you have to make hidden folders visible)

    +6500mhz 3770K

Getting fooking tired of Haswell, after about 50 4770K CPUs still stuck at 6000Mhz looking for a good 3770K at a fair price 6500 3D (4/4) would be fab Thx for chimming in
  5. Kio disable the Hyperthreading mate and try to go tight on the RAM subsettings...
  6. Small update: Reinstalled the OS, LAN drivers and XTU. Tried XTU no go Hooked up the PC to the internet (Windows updates DISABLED),network detected, selected public network and started XTU, it took quite some time before the screen appeared, it popped up and it worked... not a single Windows Update was done ! So whats the deal here, some online synchronisation has to be performed ?
  7. Use Iometer man, test what works best for your setup and set a test time of xx secs. You can get close to the same XP startup all the time...I couldn' t achieve this with copying files or compressing files. This Iometer Tool is Mooseman approved (mista pcmark) and indeed it works fab to keep XP startup sub 220... Insert coin and resubmit !
  8. Anything for my team captain So you can rule out the language packs and IE 10... the mystery remains in one or all of the others: LOOK AT POST BELOW
  9. PJ, I installed a Win7 64bit pro with SP1. Installed the malicious software removal tool ( via the same link as you provided): no go ! I hooked up the PC to the internet and let it sit idle for 15mins ( auto updates selected). I wanted to reboot, it said it was installing 7 updates. After the reboot, XTU worked... I will try to find time to cross check which updates have been installed via the software history tool. Keep you posted.
  10. Tried the CM 1500W and the AX 1200i, not PSU related. Either it's the board or the CPU which has issues with my settings and 03
  11. Sure I'm aware Kenny, but dropping my 2600 whatever stable 10-12-12-21 to 2133Mhz seems out this world
  12. I can even replicate it on Air Dino So for sure it is not moisture related... It is so weird I can do everything, besides 03 till I lower the ram divider... Somebody from GB PR took my Z87X board away It's never coming back snif snif
