  1. Thanks guys! I have to apologize myself here. I suspect that this result is incorrect and that CPUZ is showing incorrect values here. I will delete this result, just in case this result is incorrect. I don't want to cheat. The story behind it is that I found out where the FSB: DIMM divider is in the PCI register. So I was able to boot normally with the divider 1: 1 and change the divider from 1:1 to 5:6 in Windows. The system is measurably slower after that, so I thought that the divider would also be set correctly. It does not seem so (after further tests). The FSB: DIMM divider is in 7Ch (b0d0f3). Sorry. @TerraRaptor No, this version of cpuz is wrong here. Version 1.58 shows up 2 dimms correct, but I wasn't able to validate with this version. edit: can a mod delete this result?
  2. I had to lower the dram vtt Voltage to get my AT-6 sticks stable for 250MHz and above. I also recapped my board with solid caps.

  5. I modded your BIOS for the EPOX 8RDA3I. Before flashing, please make sure, that CMOS register 73-78 are free. You can check it with this program. It should look something like this (in this screen CMOS register 73-78 are used by my mod): Some things left to say: the FSB Frequency is limited in the BIOS by 250MHz. 256KB BIOS! BPL is 3.09 by default, I left it in the original version. I do not own good BPL Versions for 256kb BIOSes. This BIOS versions should work, but they are completely untested!   6. My Qimonda DE-5 sticks do a good job on my nF2 systems, but I assume they do a better job on nF4 systems. They only needed ~2,48V for this 264MHz / 3-3-2-8 / 32M run. nF2 is limiting here. CPU-Z is wrong with the RAM size.

  8. No. The ProMos labled ICs do 2-3-2-5 / 200MHz / 2,7V; 2,5-4-3-8 / 218MHz / 2,8V The Kingston labled ICs do 2-3-2-6 / 200MHz / 2,7V; 2,5-4-3-8 / 230MHz / 2,7V They don't start >3,0V.
  9. Be careful, not only Infineon and Winbond used the flat dots on the ICs. ProMos also used them. The ProMos ICs are different in OC and they hate Voltage. BT-6 RAM is a nice found!
  10. Just in case somebody wants to mod a ASRock K7NF2-RAID. mod BIOSes will follow, but until now i did not figure it out, how to add or modify the strings on an AMI BIOS... Changing the romsips is not a problem. Known romsips will also work now.

I set PCI Latency timer to 64 clocks in BIOS. AGP Sideband Addressing doesn't seem to be working properly. If I set this in the BIOS to enable, the field is blank. If I set it to disable, the program says enable. I will look at the register values... Changing romsips in AMI is easy. They are uncompressed at the end of the main BIOS. There are four tables for 100MHz, 133MHz, 166MHz and 200MHz (no Interface off/on). I simply changed the romsips, then I opened the modded BIOS with AMIBCP_v3.37 and saved it (to correct checksum?). Not all of known romsips (X1, ED..) will work with AMI based BIOSes. I guess a Value in the first part of the romsips does not work with AMI. I will test more...   14. The Code from the 512kb BPL seems to be longer than from 256kb BIOS versions. 512kb bpl would fit in the free space, but i doubt it will work. Since i am not able to test it, i don't want to risk it.

  16. It would be nice, if you can post this screenshot with this program. I will add then additional options. latest official BIOS should be V5.9 for the MSI K7N2 Delta-L. Be aware, MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR uses a different BIOS (V7.8)!!!

  18. Do you need a Mod BIOS for the Delta-L? As far as I know, nobody has created a mod BIOS for this board. I could do a mod BIOS but I don't own this board. So I cannot test the mod BIOS and guarantee that it works.
  19. I'm sorry but we don't have any mod BIOSes for the delta-l. Delta2 boards have a different southbridge, so the BIOS versions are not compatible to each other.
  20. I don't think this will work for all multipliers. You will have to increase the first 2 numbers for small multipliers (7,6,5) to 16/17/27 for the system to be able to boot. With the last 2 numbers you can try 18/19/10 (0 = auto?).
  21. If you need a mod BIOS with other romsips for EPOX, I can create a version for you. Merlins ED romsips and Infrared's X1 (ED55) have the greatest efficiency. It is difficult to make these versions even faster. Romsips like EBED and DDED are slower, but may give you some stability at high FSB. funny thing: I found romsips in the DFI nForce4 BIOS that look similar to Merlin's ED Interface optimal romsips. I don't know what these romsips in the NF4 BIOS are for, but I tried the multitable part on the NF2. Result: ~40sec slower in 32M. 8 is a lot faster than D here. Didn't test max FSB though.
  22. I will retest my benchmark results with a new Windows installation and a new harddrive. Maybe my results are more comparable then. A SSD drive should make a diffrence in my opinion. Merlins [ED] romsips seems to be almost perfect to me. They are fast and with Interface optimal a good FSB is possible. I will give Mantarays 6/19XT for DFI Lanparty B a try. It should be faster than ED romsips. I haven't done a high FSB test yet.
  23. @I.nfraR.ed Now, i've got it. You're right.? You meant with 0Ch the start of the 32bit register. [8:15] is the 0Dh part. On my ASUS A7N8X-E VGA controller is b3/d0/f0; nf2tweaker changes nothing here.
  24. I checked it on my A7N8X-E. It has no options for PCI Latency or AGP controller Lantency in its BIOS. My Delta2 neither. Using nf2tweaker and 8rdvacore, the PCI Latency should be in b0/d8/f0 (as you already figured it out), offset 18h [bits 27:31]. Every change in bits [24:26] and it resets. So it is only possible to set it in steps of 16 (10=16; 20=32; 30=48; 40=64...) AGP Controller Latency should be in b0/d1E/f0 offset 0Dh? [bits 8:15]. AGP Bus Latency should be in b0/d1E/f0 18h I'm sorry, i have no other way to help you as using the same tools. It seems that you are on the right way...
