No,you can't go below air temperature, even if you have fan the size of airplane engine lol ,if you believe otherwise get yourself a thermodynamic book and read. Even if you put 1000 fans, the fans move the air through the radiator. The water takes the heat from waterblock and moves it into radiator. The air generated by fans takes the heat from radiator blades. So if you have room temperature of 20 degrees the radiator will be cooled in ideal case to 20 degrees and the water will have 22-23 degrees because of the imperfect thermal transfer. The delta from idle to load depends on how many junctions you have ,for example direct die contact means one thermal junction,if you have standard IHS that means 2 thermal junctions, one between die and IHS and next one between IHS and waterblock. The more junctions the more losses you have. Tehnically your submission is valid only if you had 1 juntion, liquid metal between die and waterblock, great CPU and i mean really golden one with also low-leakage,excellent waterflow and excellent fans. Also 5 degrees ambient or maybe lower. -
Great eff,hehe,danger incoming

Oh man, wanted to buy something from him badly, seems best to avoid, thanks for creating this topic, probably saved me some hassle! -
More tests for cpu #2 on Impact today,25 ambient,water cooling Hwbotprime 5000/4600 1.355 Volts Spi #32M 5000/4800 1.32V Spi #32M 500//5000 1.40V

Up for sale another 2 bunnyers Cpu #1 SOLD Cpu #2 Very strong air clocker, can do 5000/4800 R15 1.41V,5000/5000 32M 1.40V, 5000/5000 R15 1.42V on water,25 ambient.5000/4800 hwbotprime is 1.35-6. Tested on water can do 4133 IMC 12-11-11 too,not pushed on ln2 at all. Price 380E shipped EU Payment via paypal, what you see is what you get,of course they will be cleaned, with tray's,and very well packed, buyer takes care of taxes. Cpu's were tested with Kryonaut grizzly under IHS . Guaranteed not DOA,cpu's have been tested for working exact specs i provide before making thread. Usually will run better since i have mining cards in room and ambient is always 25 celsius+,so normal bench room temperature at 18-20 will provide even better margin.

Impact VIII Memory Thread !
Alex@ro replied to Alex@ro's topic in Skylake/Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake (-X) (Z170/Z270/Z370/X299) OC
Gave the board a spin at recent Galax qualifiers with B-die,found some interesting stuff that might help some people to maxx-out their results Tested 5 cpu's for imc strenght. Facts: - -150 will max out the IMC - 1.25/1.30 VCCIO/VCCSA will be enough for great IMC,the not so strong ones will need more VCCIO,1.35 was enough even on the weaker ones to boot 4240 12-11-11 tight RTL,more VCCSA than 1.30 did not help at all actually made things worse for 2 cpu's. - if you can boot then it's most of the times stable for 3dmark11 physics - typical 55 code will be the limit of the mem's all the time or fucked up RTL - from testing all of the b-die stopped scalling at 2.03-04 for 32M with wazza ( in best case scenario,a lot of sticks stop at 2V or 1.95),for physics 2.10 volts provided benefits Easiest way to check voltage tolerance, find the voltage required on air for 4000 12 12 12 let's say then try to pass that higher and higher volts. Some sticks hate voltage so much for example they will bluescreen instantly when u push more volts that they like. - the strongest of IMC will run 49/50/6/6 ,3 pieces from 5 required 50/50/7/6 for booting 4240 12 11 11 - make sure you try and boot maximum possible, adjusting bclk from windows will create instability - some mem will need vttddr 0.85 ,0.90,this is mostly important for 32M as physics didn't seem to care that much - typical behaviour : Go down with temp on cpu, let mem cool a little bit then manual lock RTL 49/50/6/6,boot 4000 then go 4133 - If 32M or 3dmark11 physics exits or crashes(spi stopped working or 3dmark11 error ) increase vccio and repeat ,if you reached 1.35 and still no good,go back and try 50/50/7/6. - Not convergent in sqrt means u reached vDIMM limit on your sticks usually or mems can't handle TRCD+TRP 11 - Not exact in round,oh well this is memory limit as you know. Best results are to be had first 45 minutes-1 hour depends on the humidity and insulation ,when u start to see 55 or 41 code when before was stable it might be time to stop session and dry things. -
Replied,i only test with 1T ,so yes
-
It's strong cpu on air and very easy to handle on ln2,need it gone tough to cover over expenses with b-die binning lol

Hey folks,up for sale a great 6700K from some binning i did. Great air cpu,did 5 ghz hwb prime undelidded on 1.36 normal ambient,ln2 6500 hwbtprime was easy,6550 worked too but did not screen,6600 failed however should be possible with little bit more tuning and maybe lapped ihs. If i remember correctly on water it needed 1.25 for 4800/4500 CB R15. Imc was good for 4133 12-11-11 32M and 4200+ physics 50/50/7/6 . Cpu is extremely easy to clock under ln2,just 1.8 Pll,1.6 termantion, bandwith 5, and no cb,simple as that, cbb is around -170,tested on M8 Impact. Price is 420E shipped in Europe, payment via paypal. For any other questions please ask.
