  1. Solution #2 sounds good to me, I prefer this one too.
  2. That's understandable. On the other hand we are talking only about GeForce-7-series cards which are way older than the latest RivaTuner versions and have full support.
  3. I think it's a good idea. Riva Tuner is the common prog to check geometric clock delta and many overclockers use it anyway. If you encounter the annoying geo shader bug at 783/792MHz it's even necessairy to lower it considerably
  4. Same problem here: http://hwbot.org/community/user/malkavan 1k points loss for the team...
  5. Bump for this one. At the moment I don't have any points effectively. I'm not ranked in OC League and I am not contributing points to the team.
  6. I have changed the "I do not wish to participate in the HWBOT rankings" accidently. Now the check mark is set back off but some (global) points are missing and I'm not ranked in the Overclockers League (nor in another one). http://hwbot.org/user/malkavan/ Any way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
  7. My language is always set to english but on some tabs there is still some german text. F.e. "My Profile" -> "Points" Tab "My Team" -> "Members" Tab "My Team" -> "Achievements" Tab "My Team" -> "Submissions" Tab
  8. I guess they are both rated for 6.3V because AGP port is fed with 3.3V maximum, isn't it? So it probably does not matter as there won't be caps for 12v rail.
  9. Those are capacitors. Little ones are ceramic ones and you can solder them both ways but for the big electrolytic one you have to watch polarity You broke the SMD socket but thats not needed - you will just have some problems to resolder that short broken leg without replacing it by a thick wire.
  10. Exactly, this has been said several times now and I don't think anyone tried to prove the contrary. There will be always cheaters - no matter of nationality or a team affiliation.
  11. Yes thats true but just counts for hardware points, I mean you can also share a GTX580 f.e. to get global points. My team has just a few active members but most were simply buying the hardware with which you got many hw points with Rev.3 - so that's often identically. Plus we don't have many global points, now we need to get some.
  12. Ok, I was just wondering because my team dropped from #19 - 14k points to #29 - 1k points
  13. It was working some minutes ago Are hardware points for the team ranking really limited to 300pts.?
  14. What about the blown phases, is this card working with 7 gpu phases now?
  15. Of course there are and it was not a team but a single user who did it. The first ban will always last for one year. After renewed cheating there is no second chance and lifetime ban.
  16. nice I guess Rev.4 needs a 'FOTOPAINT L33T League!!!11' now.
  17. You can randomly pic any 3dm06 score with lets say more than 10 boints. He never shows subtests and the formula won't work for any of them. He just uploaded some top scores today again and espacially the GTX570 3dm05 run fails too, he shouldn't have started showing subtests: http://hwbot.org/signature.img?iid=585909&thumb=false&iehack=.jpg
  18. I was just looking for some HD4850 results and found this one: http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1090321_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_radeon_hd_4850_19936_marks?tab=info First I thought it was just some kind of bugged run because he isn't showing subtest details but than I used the 3DM06 formula for score calculation and got a different score. That means he did edit the sm2+3 score with some paint proggie. final score = 2.5 / ( ( 0.3/cpuscore + 1.7/((sm2+sm3)/2) ) / 2) So I had a look for some other submissions of this guy and many are photoshopped. For example: http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1093917_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_2x_radeon_hd_4850_27387_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2145435_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_radeon_hd_5970_34878_marks'>http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2145435_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_radeon_hd_5970_34878_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1015532_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_radeon_hd_5770_22229_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1087967_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_radeon_hd_4890_24049_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2163916_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_570_39912_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1093548_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_geforce_9600_gt_16261_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2145435_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_radeon_hd_5970_34878_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2165913_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_590_42293_marks http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2165908_dinho_fatal1ty_3dmark05_geforce_gtx_570_52285_marks On some screens the font size isn't even the same or he is getting way to high cpu scores, f.e. 11.9k with sandy at 5.4GHz
  19. I'Ve already modded you card completely, perhaps I'll try CF next http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2164071_malkavan_3dmark05_radeon_hd_3850_35491_marks
  20. I did a pencil mod for the vMEM - 2.33V is no default You have to use a special version of AMD GPU Clock Tool to raise the core voltage above 850MHz - mine's 0.7.x.
  21. bugged run regular FPS of GT4 would be ~310-320FPS at those clocks/settings -> 31k points less of final score
