Let me try X670e 4-dimm board, I think your mem timings are a little bit to tight for 48gb

Your Vddq/vdd2 voltages are too high for XMP let them @auto and check it it start. Also RDEQ2 is only in some cases necessary, you can let it @auto for XMP -

You don’t need to flash XOC bios from z790, I have uploaded already X7p bios for z690 also in the z690 thread 😉 -

If you have 13th or 14th gen CPU`s try to disable e-cores and set for example 50/45 without e-cores. Reboot sys and power it off. Haven`t tested it but it could work. With G7400T I can start Sys also but couldn`t select 0x09 microcode. -

For Z790x Tachyon and 12th gen CPU’s. You guys need 12900k for deactivation on e-cores and selection of 0x15 microcode. After it it save settings and replace CPU with another one. After it DON’T press cmos! Then you can run also 12600k with it. For me it works fine https://hwbot.org/submission/5479225_sergmann_y_cruncher___pi_1b_core_i5_12600k_(6p)_16sec_765ms -

For firadisk you need USB drive which are not available, this is why I use my old dvd drive for installation. -

yes, some cpu`s like low SA for fullpot. 1,15-1,2 is a good starting point -

You can use same tools for z790 and z790x, works fine with both boards. Havent tested 13th gen on z790x, but 14th gen works fine on both boards. Same settings and same max frequency is possible. OC-Settings, especially for LN2 are same. And like always you must play with voltages to get CPU Fullpot . Just haven’t found right settings for SuperPi and CPU @Fullpot. Need to play a little bit more with voltages and settings. At the moment I couldn’t get higher frequencies on z790x compared with z790 and my 14th Gen CPU’s. Need a little bit more time to check everything. -

Try x7n works for me slightly better on max mem stable frequency. Of course not 24/7 settings -
