  1. For stability are many things important. For example voltages. If you have it @“auto” check you stable voltages with Hwinfo and set it manually in bios. Same is also necessary for timings. This low tREFi you have only after loading setup defaults. Different CPU’s and Mem need different voltage/timings settings. Sometimes are lower voltages for SA/CPU_VDD/CPU_VDDQ better for Mem OC ?
  2. Have you played with Round trip latency? I’ve never seen that RTL’s are different after reboot without changing something in Mem-settings. lower CL value is connected to RTL’s and also depends on Mem frequency. If you want higher RTL’s, disable round trip latency in memory training area and don’t leave it with “auto” settings
  3. It’s not possible to enter RTL’s manually. If your RTL’s are too high, please set “Round Trip Latency” to “Enabled” after it your RTL’s are tight.
  4. New bios with correction of postcode 11 during memory training is in the first post
  5. If you want to update all bios versions together, select first bios and the switch for bios must be on position “1” put your bios on fat32 usb drive and rename it to gigabyte.bin. After it flash it with q-flash button on the AIO side
  6. yes, MCU 0X15 check first post, I`ve uploaded tool to prevent AVX512 drop. couldn`t test it at the moment but this one helps me on Z790
  7. You must disable all energy saving futures, you can see it in your screenshot already. P- and E-core frequency dropped down
  8. It’s really easy, you can set AVX512 drop to 1, set your frequency 100mhz higher, open benchmark, reduce frequency 100mhz and let it run i have to test a tool which prevents drop for AVX512 CPU on z690, if it works I‘ll upload it.
  9. Yes, you need right value for this to get high Mem score but you must adjust voltages for Mem
  10. With 8400 CL34 you will break 16k Mem score. Can’t upload screenshots here now, but you can check screenshot from ocn forum ? https://www.overclock.net/threads/z790-aorus-tachyon-owners-thread.1803552/post-29135163
  11. You can choose X6h bios and select necessary microcode direct in bios
  12. For everyone who gets a Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon, here is some bios and tools. As soon as my arm has recovered from the car accident and I can write more, more information comes. Just as an info and clue, I don't set up high voltages: My startpoint for Air and LN2 VCCSA: 1.25 VDDQ CPU: 1.35 VDD2 CPU: 1.45 Mem-Voltages: VDD: 1.675-1.775 VDDQ: 1.535-1.635 Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon Bios: Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X4b (one of best bios versions for me) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X6h (I've used also multiple times) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X6k (have sometimes CB) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X6m (with higher VCCIN Voltage) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X6n (tRCD_WR added in Mem-Settings) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X6o (Fix code "11" during memory training) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X6U (Update for Gear4 mode, can be used for all benchmarks) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X6V (Updated for Gear4 mode with lower bclk) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7b with different microcodes for 13th gen Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7d (we have used it for max mem) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7e Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7J (14th Gen Support) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7L (14th Gen) Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X8a Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7n Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7o Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7p Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X7r GIGABYTE Z790 Tachyon X Bios: Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X X1a Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X X7n Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X X7o Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X X7p Gigabyte Z790 Tachyon X X7r GTL Tools: You can choose XP-Version for all OS B22.1019.1 B22.1106.1 XP B23.1004.1 (X7j-Bios) AVX512 Tool
  13. 93+ is a good one. My best 12900k have 94 with x4b bios (for 12th gen) 95 is my 13900k
  14. If your CPU have good IMC 8400 are not a big problem. If IMC is ?, you can’t reach same frequency like some other ppl. I’ve tested many CPU’s also for IMC, some of them can do it, some not
  15. With right settings for Mem you shouldn’t have any problems with boot with X4b or x6h bios. If they are wrong, boot will be a little bit longer. Try to play with voltages on it. Also SA voltage, with 12th Gen I always used 1.35v, with 13th Gen are 1.25v enough
  16. With a-die 8k should be possible without problems. Can upload my profile later
  17. Flash official bios with q-flash and check if everything works fine. If yes try at first x6h bios. X4b works fine for 2d benchmarks and Nvidia GPU’s (not tested yet with 4090).
  18. Why you give up so quick with h-bios guys? I was sure with h-bios 7900 XTX works fine. And believe me, you can also use high Mem frequency with h-bios. Sometimes it’s cpu himself which can’t do it ?
  19. F23a is official bios, I don’t think this have biscuits display.
