  1. iGPU is off. Checked several times. Also tested the different tweaking options but no change. Forced PCIe 2.0 and tried both x16 slots. Did GPU-Z show PCIe 1.0 then or did it still show 2.0?
  2. I keep my card at about -82 to -84°C. If I go lower the card starts bugging. Yes 1.0.1. Also tested 1.0.3 but no change. Interesting but didn't help. Just rechecked with 1750, 1800 and 1850 MHz. Score is always increasing a little. Still missing about 10% in total 1500 / 1800: 1500 / 1900: Got the tip to use a different board. So will check again with a GBT board tomorrow. Meanwhile if you have any other ideas - let me know. And thanks all for the help so far!
  3. Listening to a lot of different stuff. Current favorites:
  4. Thanks guys! Will test and report whether it worked.
  5. I'm usually only benching Nvidia cards but had the chance to test a 7970 Matrix. So benched vantage, 3DMark11 and Heaven yesterday. Checking my scores I'm missing about 10% everywhere but I have absolutely no idea why and where. Just did another 4 hours of testing but could not fix it... AMD/ATI is not my cup of tea so I'm not that much into their drivers. Maybe you have an idea? Setup: i7-3770K @ ~6,0 GHz 4C 8T HD7970 Matrix ~1500/1900 Maximus V Extreme Let's start with 3DMark 11. My score: http://img.hwbot.org/u12933/image_id_943285.png Random score with quite same clock speeds but a lot higher score: http://img.hwbot.org/u6911/image_id_866002.jpeg Heaven: http://img.hwbot.org/u12933/image_id_943270.jpg Score for comparison: http://img.hwbot.org/u37/image_id_859528.jpg I tryed 12.11 beta 11 and 13.2 beta 6 drivers. Both had about the same result. Driver settings: AA - Application controlled AF - Application controlled Tessellation - Off Catalyst AI - Performance, Enable surface format optimization Mipmap - High performance AA Mode - MSAA D3D configuration - geometry instancing OpenGL - Triplebuffering I also used D3DOverrider but no change. Any idea? Is AMD just trolling me or am I trolling myself by not knowing something important? Help is highly appreciated
  6. Thanks Booked my flight: Arriving 3rd at 10:05 in the morning Leaving 13th at 18:45 in the evening
  7. Maybe stupid question but which Airport do I have to use? TPE or TSA? TPE is the international one but a bit outside of taipeh or?
  8. You can purchase it directly from their shop on junpus.com But you have to pay 12$ per paste. So that's pretty much.
  9. I only had GBT boards to test it and could mostly only use 1200 mhz cl8 on the memory. Not sure if i was IMC or board limited.
  10. Selling one of my 3770Ks 3218C017 (Costa Rica) 1,85 V for SuperPi32m @ 6,63 GHz. Max Clock 6755 MHz Could run 3DMark 01 and Aquamark 6,50 GHz with 2 cores 1,86 vCore and 1,88 vPLL Scores done with this CPU: [hwbot=2291068]submission[/hwbot] [hwbot=2291072]submission[/hwbot] [hwbot=2291071]submission[/hwbot] Price: 320 € inkl. worldwide shipping
  11. Yes the limitation of Type-K probes. If you go deeper the specific error becomes a lot higher. Actually below -170°C you should only use Type-T or Type-N probes which are quite expensive - not talking about the measurement device.
  12. Same like he went to CeBit the last two times?
  13. Guys we have to get all overclockers together and make a group photo. Would be awesome!
  14. I did test but removed it from the chart because of the too high value Only on air tho. Thanks Thanks and you're welcome! Also took me hours to write/translate it so I can understand that At least the diagramms should be easy to read. Thanks a lot! Thanks mate - realy appreciate that. After testing the first 22 on air one of my thermocouples broke and I had to do about 18 hours of work again. That was so damn frustrating That's true. Without load the temperatures were almost equal at -150°C with all thermal pastes. But with high load on the CPU the results were different. EVGA Frostbite is not that good from my experience. I used it with GTX580 Lightning a while ago and I wasn't happy about it at all. Moved to Gelid then. Yea a lot. Have a big box with thermal pastes laying around here. About 200 Gelid Extreme (which I bought myself tho ) and about 50 of the others. Thanks Thank you! Danke Thanks a lot for that PJ! Glad to hear that I'll test this soon. Had a lot of requests for that and I'm also curious about the result. Propably 1-2 weeks. Thank you Yes Gelid or D9000 are the way to go Thx!

Hey there! I got one and will test it this week on LN2. You can have it if it's crap
  16. Matt you're posting exactly what I was thinking about this test. I thought a lot about the different aspects and error sources of this testing method. To answer your question: My thermometers are calibrated on 0°C. You are right that Type-K thermocouples have a higher error rate than 0,1°C but that's no problem here as I'm using delta temperatures. I thought the same like you and did some testing because of that. I used water with different temperatures and put both probes inside to check whether the temperature is changing but it was not the case. This means the error of the thermocouples is always the same during the complete test. It might be that the delta temperature is not correct. It could be 1°C more or 1°C less but as all values have the same error it doesn't matter. You can just compare the results and check which paste has the lowest delta temperature. I agree that the high-end pastes are so close to eachother that propably everything could change their position. Just take a look at Gelid on LN2 -50°C test. Not ranked the best like in the other tests. Nevertheless it provides some information about which pastes to use and which not like you said edit: You can also check the test table: I put all data in there including the ingredients if I could find them
  17. Thanks Damn okay I didn't do any testing about MHz. Just temperature difference. Thanks mate JunPus D9000 and JunPus DX-1 are diamond particle pastes I didn't find any information about the ingredients of the GC-Extreme but just because of the look I'm quite sure it's also diamond based or at least there are some diamond particles included.
  18. Finally got it online. Don't kill me if there are too many spelling mistakes Please report back if any graphics are not working.
