  1. Sure! I'm about to book my flight. Trying to find the right airport at the moment.
  2. I also wann leave some feedback here now. I basicly have the same opinion like the rest even tho I have a question. I'm pretty happy with the XOC league as it fits exactly to my needs. If I want to bench old hardware - fine - new hardware - fine aswell. So that's pretty cool and the only reason why I don't want to compete in Pro-OC. I'd be pretty mad if you would remove the XOC league so I can understand how the Pro-OC guys feel. I talked to crazzzy85 whom I'm benching with every time as he's living away only 20 minutes from here. So he's a big fan of the Pro-OC concept but I prefer XOC. Still we both like the new Pro-OC-Cup. Actually the coolest thing for us would be to have our league rankings and to be together as a team in the Pro-OC-Cup if we have time to participate there aswell. I've read the reasons you posted PJ about why to only keep the cup. Still I just wanted to say it would be pretty awesome if you could combine the league and the Pro-OC-Cup. Maybe after evaluating the first season of the cup you can think about it
  3. Another way is to run superpi several times during the multithreaded test 3. Quick guide: 1. Open PCMark04 2. Open SuperPi several times (it depends on your cpu how often you need it. Maybe 4-5 times. Mind that you need several copies of the superpi.exe in different folders) 3. Select the 2M test and prepare to run. Click "OK" on the first window and keep the second window "Now start to calculate 2M digits of Pi" 4. Prepare all of the SuperPi you opened and put all the "Now start to calculate 2M digits of Pi" over eachother so you can start them all pretty fast by clicking okay on the same position 5. Run PCMark04 and select the SuperPi window very very fast. Don't hit the OK button tho. If you're not fast enough the benchmark will abort. 6. Wait until the Multithreaded test 2 (File Decompression, Image Processing) is almost over and start all the SuperPi 2M runs at once 7. Close the SuperPi windows after calculation of Multithreaded Test 2 is done. Don't click anything else tho or the benchmark will abort. 8. Wait until PCMark04 is done =)
  4. Anybody who is not 100% sponsored can move back to XOC league. Only few members are not allowed to go back like Andre or Vince for obvious reasons. Mind that you are not allowed to use latest gen ES CPUs in the XOC league tho.
  5. It's your choice whether you want to compete in the Pro OC Cup or want to go back to XOC. Just post here and I'm sure Massman will move you back.
  6. Is that the same layout? If yes just use one of the capacitors like I marked it

  8. Interesting mounting indeed. Curious about ur new insulation method.
  9. Well I think not all Pro-OCers want to be part of the Pro-OC-Cup so it's the best temorary solution until everybody decided where to stay.
  10. We discussed that internally few weeks ago and hopefully it's no problem if I answer this Only real pro overclockers like vince, nick and andre who have 100% vendor support have to stay in the pro oc. Everybody else who is a "normal" overclocker can change back to OC-League. lieeeeee <3 OC league
  11. Well not only for that but it's a part of their job or?
  12. Selfquote ftw. I had some thoughts about the money part of the competitions. Considering that the "top" pro-overclockers get paid for benching and world records it's pretty strange to give then thousands of euros for winning the competition On the other hand it's a nice motivation for the normal extreme overclockers
  13. If there was a poll I'd vote for method 2 Current system is unbalanced at this point as all deserve the same amount of points for equal results.
  14. for 10.000€ every 3 months I'd consider to join aswell haha
  15. I'm also a bit concerned about the future of this kind of overclocking. Reading the posts in this thread I'm not sure whether there will be a lot of team. I like the idea of the seasoned competitions but I won't be able to be part of that. Too much new hardware to bench which I will not be able to afford.
  16. Could be Saved it few years ago. Happened to me aswell and had no influence on the result. Was a GTX260 tho.
  17. No problem Got almost everything in my archive. OCP is actually the only thing you need. Solder a 50k vr parallel to the shown resistor and turn it to get a resulting resistance of 25k
  18. Where's the coldbug of your card? I had 3 and could bench all of them at about -140 to -160°C
  19. Pretty strange. The card was pretty good according to the pretests. I could do 880 MHz core at -10°C and 1230 MHz on the memory. I flashed the card with the coldbug free bios (which propably failed). The card managed about 900 MHz at -40°C but below that the FPS dropped to 20
  20. Well done bro! Next time I will steal that CPU... I meant I will buy it on mindfactory - special offer.
