  1. I.nfraR.ed , DDR5-6800 on AM5 that is super impressive ? What did you do to push it that high ?! Or just super strong sample ? 7950X i got only goes to 6500 so far
  2. Been writing support tickets for months now begging and asking for help to fix my forum account, apparently password restoration function is not working and nothing is being delivered to gmail associated with hwbot account. Can not even communicate on forum and ask questions there. Can not see submissions being removed, or the reason for that, unless manually going throughout my submissions and noticing them just disappear. Just like now went to check up my points and noticed them drop, and sure enough them some RTX 4090 scores got removed again ! Leeghoofd i am asking can you or any admins/mods please help with fixing the forum password and look up why i am not receiving notifications to my gmail for submissions being removed ? And what was wrong with these submissions and the reason for them being removed ? Link bellow, thank you :) : https://hwbot.org/submission/5174960_ https://hwbot.org/submission/5174958_ https://hwbot.org/submission/5174956_

  4. Ananerbe thank you bro , need much more CPU overclock and find 2 more memories for quad channel but that later
  5. Xtreme Addict , Elmor , Asus : Great BIOS , thank you guys ! :celebration: Working well on Strix
  6. elmor If you get a second can you take a look please ? Been trying to get it to work with GTX 970 Asus Strix ( Digi+ ASP1212 ) , v1b6 has a profile for it but its not changing or reading anything for some reason ? If i try Asus GTX980 DC2 (looks like same Digi+ ASP1212 controller) profile it gets a reading from monitoring and will let change voltage , however nor gpu-z nor MSI AB monitoring will report a voltage increase , still shows 1.20v all the time . And on device scan it instantly disconnects from USB for some reason and then reconnects , puzzled with that card ... Thank you , attached log file and screenshot bellow
  7. Hi i have a very simple and quick question please , can any hwbot staff or moderators clarify on unlocked shaders/units on VGA please ? Uploaded some nothing special mediocre air scores on RX 460 card (regular 896 shaders , Asus Strix with flashed unlocked BIOS) and was told by someone i have to submit in RX 460 1024 shareds section instead . I did check the box " I have unlocked this videocard, and use more cores/shaders/... than factory enabled. " while submitting . . Very confused now and almost feeling guilty , as the card is regular 896 shaders out from box . So what one should do in cases like that , when unlocking shaders/units that where not factory enabled by manufacturer . Check the special box and submit for what card model is intended or virtually "upgrade" it and submit to whatever closest next card , in this case RX 460 (1024 shader) ? This is the check box i am talking about : And this is the RX 460 4Gb 896 shaders card that has been BIOS flashed and unlocked to 1024 attached to message bellow Thank you
  8. I.nfraR.ed Beautiful , Very impressive ! How about graphics PCIe lanes , still @ 3.0 with 138 bus clk ?
  9. GPU is good surprisingly considering that on stock air was very mediocre card , around 1360MHz maximum 3DMark "stable" Its too hard to bench it on dry ice , because my has stupid cold boot bug , once it gets under ~ -70 on pot if it crashes its game over ... need to warm it a lot , not an easy task with pot full of acetone and dry ice lol
  10. Thank you Elmor ! :celebration: LN2 BIOS working great , no more dreaded cold slow ... finally , only for some reason cant figure out wheres voltage control in GPU Tweak II (maybe its hidden , checked unofficial overclocking box didnt help ) such option missing , but no big deal with eVc board of course Thank you very very much !
  11. 12 Thank you ! Voltage was default , 1150mV for those clocks due to stupid "wattman" limitation and signature required by AMD (bad bad AMD hehe) for BIOS that made it impossible to use edited BIOS , but now looks like a way to increase voltage is found even without control boards like eVc , so will have to retest with more volts of course , maybe will go higher . Not a bad middle level video card , interesting to overclock
  12. Fun lasted not long as it throttles to 300MHz as soon as reaches around 0 C So all the hope for experts now to modify it and unlock the AMD power ! :celebration:
  13. Seems some people have missed the glory days when AMD was undisputed performance champion Hopefully ZEN will bring the pricing and balance back to Earthy levels ! *poking the 6950X the Oligarch (excuse me Extreme) Edition $1723 with stick* lol
  14. Yes too bad about cold slow bug at 0 C but no doubt will get fixed with BIOS or other mod sooner or later Then it will get more interesting , already not bad performance for mid-range priced card ! Actually the card was hitting up to +17 C under load around 0 C to -5C was the pot temperature , so those clocks it managed are are closer to water cooling territory
  15. Hi , for memory i used 1.60v , my memory (Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666C11) did not like high voltage on that FM2 , 1.60v gave best frequencies . Other voltages i cant remember now (benched in winter already forgot) but will look if i wrote them down
  16. Flanker Hi M8 :celebration: ! yes in IDE mode , working good ! Maybe one day will rebench 32M with tightened subtimings as for this did not touch any subtiming just few quick tests
  17. Massman oh year air cooling , the big one Noctua NH-D15 . Speaking of RAM frequency , managed to get my Dominators to 2600+ with x4 845 , it was not stable for 32M though , only light benches . Compared to Kaveri if felt a little more difficult to hit same memory frequencies ( Kaveri with same memory kit and same mobo had 2640 prime blend stable )
  18. Its interesting , boots in windows with around ~ 117MHz , but with 120 wont even post . So what i did is boot at 112 then used the Turbo V utility Flanker shared and linked here on previous pages . If boot with default 100 , utility wont allow such high BCLK , but when boot with 112 and then use TurboV (i guessing mobo changes some subtimings or something ) it worked up to 123 ! Also had to increase APU1.2V Voltage = 1.25v VDDA Voltage = 2.10v
  19. Yes IDE mode , working good But AMD WR is untouchable - i was just checking to compare efficiency with other AMD's and found a lot of guys did 9m runs at 8GHz on Vishera http://hwbot.org/benchmark/superpi_-_32m/rankings?hardwareTypeId=processor_2689&cores=8#start=0#interval=20 But still very impressive efficiency that excavator got , so far lots of fun with it !
  20. flanker Thank you for preview and tests m8 ! Very interesting read :celebration:
  21. Memory voltage 1.60v maximum , with more its losing a little bit of MHz (around minus 20-30MHz) Exact model : Corsair Dominator Platinum CMD8GX3M2A2666C11 ver5.12 Could not find where did i save screenshot of Prime Blend but found one from OCCT run (not very good for testing memory i know but its 2h+ ) Also note Vcore for 4.6GHz and NB uncore voltage , thats one good 7870K ! Very lucky Temperatures - plenty headroom remaining according to AMD overdrive , thx to solder TIM big improvement over Kaveri . He is prime stable @ 4.8 too but i forgot with what vcore Edit : also 1320 @ ram is stable on all 3 APU's i have : 7400K/7700K and 7870K , this is why conclusion that this is more of mobo+ram combination achievement and not because IMC is strong on one particular APU
