  1. Dino, Thanks for sending the RAM back. I forgot how easy it was to get a good score with them
  2. after playing around last night, ive come to find out that the efficency is very good on this run.
  3. 3dmar06. my little tank pwns all other little tanks. the controls are very wonky though.
  4. thats what i want to know as well, those timings and freq should be close to if not better than what i ran as i did a really weak waza with only 1 move.
  5. well, it looks like i dont have enough time for a re-bench for this stage. Congrats to you, that is one killer score you put up .
  6. tried that already. it makes the board shut down even faster.
  7. i will play with a better cpu, pwm frequency settings netted no gain vs auto that one was not so good. 2670 tops on imc, 6.3ghz max 1.8v.
  8. ocp like shutdown when pushing the igp. ocp like shutdown with CPU @ 6ghz+ with HT. I raised current limits to max values in the cpu features page and it seemed to help pass cpu test. did nothing for igp as there were no settings available. what giga board are you referring to? i need to do some further testing once i refill to see if its the same across all the boards i have here.
  9. yes i know. im just responding to what is relevant to igp 06 right now. though im not having nearly as many memory problems as others.
  10. thats what i figured since it would just simply cut out. where is Dino when you need him lol! man id hate to have to buy a gene for 1 day of benching. id much rather have a formula or extreme but cant afford till after comp *edit* looked at an email i sent. mentioned where i was walling and the need for more voltage. hopefully giga will deliver the goods on time?
  11. nah, nothing yet. not enough ln2 to go full pot for a run... still trying to figure out why im walling the igp at 1750ish. bios only allows +.350v to igp, dunno if thats normal across all manufacturers as i dont have an asus or msi board... but your CPU score is a piece of cake to beat. i rock that @ 5.8 w/ HT 'twas a genuine "well done!"
  12. iduno but he is a little too close for comfort. time to re-bench
  13. lol @ cellshock. UP5 is definately more memory friendly.
  14. wuuuut? i think tuesday is a good day, i will start pre-testing now, i think ive got the imc just about dialed the way i want.
  15. UP5 is now rockin the way its supposed to. vivi, f5a bios is pretty stable.
  16. turn off core parking... more ram freq, and finding the "right" timings. some subs if you are too tight it hurts score. i see you are using UP5 time for me to switch boards and get with the program. next sub will be with up5 *edit* ran UP5 last night... within 1 point of UD5 so efficency is the same. crash recovery was a disaster for me though... took me like 20 min to recover because clear cmos wasnt working. had to boot into 2nd bios, remove all hard drives and gpu... then reboot back into 1st bios only to find that all my settings were still the same that made me fail post constantly 66 reboot 66 reboot... since then though, no problems. probably was a 1 off thing.
  17. @ splave havent tried 7-7-7 2133 yet.... should I try GTX2 or just some Hypers? @ massman why is it so quiet/boring in here?
  18. look into thaiphoon burner. apparently support sucks, but it works on z77 ud3 and ud5
  19. do it. i have yet to go over 2680 on ivy. fully tuned up to 2650ish i expect 13500... so 3000 is 14k+?
  20. updated submission http://hwbot.org/submission/2298517 dumo also put up a score http://hwbot.org/submission/2298121 iduno if this is just lame-test or everybody else has something better to do with their non-existant lives... im gathering good data here.
  21. this thread is not as active as I would have hoped. come on guys! 3dm11 is pretty relevant isnt it?
