No vendor does that, not ASUS, not Gigabyte, not Intel, and certainly not Corsair..... I have never ever once in my life, experienced a vendor not defending stupid choices.... Be it branding Vengeance ram as 'OC series' or Gigabyte pumping concept board X58-OC with additional controllers that you simply do not need for bench..
  2. By any chance can you try it in a MV G/E/F ?
  3. Pretty decent chips, but unfortunately there is a huge difference from bootable, to fully stable.. DDR3-2666 is quite good for fully stable, I've only had one Ivy that can do that... - Now the funny thing, the ES Intel sends out for reviewers, pretty much every CPU can do DDR3-3000 boot Ivy IMC does not really impact that much from cooling.
  4. nice one sire
  5. You think that is the real expense? I got one word for you; liquor
  6. Changing region of residence that is? ;-P
  7. 3218C0xx seems strong... :-) Think I'll bribe Rosty with a burger next weekend, then we can test mine on the monster cascade too, hehe.

Hey guys, I just got home, I've had a nice day too First of all, I am not even sure who Sergio is, sorry I do not suggest anyone cheating, except OPB - and if I suspect someone is cheating, I'll be crying on Massman or Christian Ney's msn within a few min. HIWA was creative with LOC as some may remember, along many other top OC'ers - while ryba boarded a flight and used elmors prebinned hardware.... HIWA served time, and wont do that again, I believe. Others have submitted HW that was not released, as other hardware.... Hence; Phenom II X4 965 125W / 140W, due to NDA - something I consider being a bad sport, but not cheating.... Thats why I say, people are being creative. I do not mean no harm, not going to start a war, and I am not competing on hwbot myself - so not really effecting me.
  9. Hmm, either I am doing it WRONG, or those load temps cant be true.... 1.25v = 70C+ here.... 4.7ghz p95 12-12 AVX.
  10. I see ryba taught you some tricks on how to make friends
  11. Prime95 stable! Wild guess; 1M stable.
  12. UD5H BIOS F10a tested, just as hopeless as the other, F8 is the best one so far - seems the board simply just isnt very strong.
  13. 6100mhz on LN2, that must hurt...

Onepagebook did that for quite a while though.... And many top10 hwbot users have been 'creative'......
  15. Yup was stock CPU... 1.475v VDIMM was only thing I've set, and along DDR3-2000, except for that, flat :-)

  17. Warning; F9d for GA-Z77X-UD5H DO NOT KEEP VCORE AUTO WITH BOX COOLER !!!!!!! I did not pay attention, which I should have... Noticed maximum temp in realtemp hitting 89, opened CPU-z..1.44 -> 1.62v..... Ehm? Great BIOS!
  18. Congrats to the winning sandbaggers ;-P
  19. Which fixes? Hope that board will have a good BIOS soon.
  20. Sweet SoF, you ran all with 2C?
