I ordered 2 GTX-780 Classy's from a seller on E-Bay. They both look in excellent condition BUT I received one with broken caps on the back. I've included pictures that show the damage. If you can fix this - PM me with your Address (US) and Repair Cost. P.S. I have Broken cards that the same Caps that I can also ship for the repair parts. Thank You

Nice Start :-) De-lidding the CPU + a 360 AIO will let you go over 5GHz. You need to work on the memory timings as they will also help. Here is some good info - https://community.hwbot.org/forum/119-skylakekaby-lakecoffee-lake-x-z170z270z370x299-oc/

Thanks For the help. It was under My Account and I needed a password for that team. I submitted the required info and I've now have switched to that team π

As the name implies, How to switch from your current team to another team. IIRC my current team had to send me an invite on HwBot.org to join their team. Is that correct or is there something else I need to try.

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 APEX | APEX 14
MaddMutt replied to noizemaker's topic in Alder Lake (Z690) & Raptor Lake (Z790) OC
This is a UpDate to this thread and also my question. I was unable to get the z690 Apex working with a Quad - Setup ( I also did not want to BORK the board AND did not try harder). <- If anyone gets this to work, PLEASE leave feed back π I went back to my z690 Hero ( BIOS 3401 ) and have Benched/Submitted scores from both 2x SLI (GTX-6xx) and Quad SLI (GTX-590/690). ^ The Asus z690 Hero and Gigabyte z690 Aorus Tachyon <- From Scores Submitted by MATSGLOBETROTTER β CAN run Quad SLI - For those that are interested. π Thank You For Your Time π -
I have found submissions from IntelGuy under both the 3x GTX-660 GK104 & GK106 category . Under ALL of their 3x GK106 submissions -> GPU-Z Clearly Shows that a GK104 GPU was used in the bench. Here is a link to one of the submissions : https://hwbot.org/submission/3346371 If this had been a BIOS MOD/Unlocked hardware then WHY was their scores from the 1x or 2x runs not also subbed under the GK106? Thank You

Do I need to rename it to something special? I tried though the BIOS and was told that it was not a true bios file. I then tried it though BIOS FLASHBACK (renamed to sli_cf_bios.cap and slibios.cap) and it didn't flash π Thank You -

I just got the z690 Apex π I got it a week after the z690 Hero as I could not get win 7 to install. I'm 95% sure that it was a NVMe error as I got it to install on the Apex with a SSD. Here's the question : I installed 2 x gtx-590's on the Hero but was unable to get them to SLI under windows 8.1/10 as I've used win 7 for these older cards. I've now switched to the Apex and I get a d4 error (PCI resource allocation error) when I have the second gtx-590 installed. Does anyone know how to fix this on the Apex?? Thank You For Your Time π Here's a link to my submission for GPUPI with the 2x gtx-590's https://hwbot.org/submission/5545348_ https://hwbot.org/submission/5545352_ Here's a screen shot of the setup π -

Does anyone have memtweak for the z690 + 14900k? -
I did a Hardware, Motherboard, LGA-1151 v2, z390 and then LGA-1151, z170 lookup from our (HWBot) DB to see its info. Iβve done this many times before to see which maker and model (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ECT,ECT) has the most or best submissions. I first did the asus z390 WS Pro and it showed 0 submissions even though the main page showed 116 submissions. I then looked up the asus z170 Maximus VIII Extreme, Gene, Hero, and Impact. They all showed more that a 1000 submissions but when I clicked on them they showed ~ 15 submissions. Iβm used to being able to see how the MB did on the the different 2d benching categories (SuperPi, Cinebench, WinPrime, ect) and what OC the MB is capable of. Is there something wrong with our motherboard DB? I also tried a look up of the GTX-680 by using the Hardware, Video Cards, Nvidia GeForce 600 Series(13,xxx subs) but clicking on it would not bring up the 3d benching categories. I was able to do a search from the main page and bring up the info on the gtx-680? Thank You π
