Haswell 4670K/4770K Batch and Serial Numbers
Vivi replied to Massman's topic in Haswell (Z87/Z97) OC
aah ok so i just had VERY good bad luck haha. Yea my 1.4 CPU's reach 6.4 almost so i guess it makes sense that some of the 1.25v guys do 6.6 like 8 Pack's. Just a matter of time till we find them -
Haswell 4670K/4770K Batch and Serial Numbers
Vivi replied to Massman's topic in Haswell (Z87/Z97) OC
Im confused at these cpu's, tested 7 from the same batch, ALL CB was -127, it seems to be the norm, i had 1.38 5ghz / 1.4 5ghz / 1.42 5ghz / and bunch of non-5ghz. The scaling from best to worst was according to 5GHZ on air clocks, EXCEPT my 1.25v 5ghz cpu sucked on ln2 and had -100 cb. im wondering if thats the reason HKPEC sell so many 1.25v 5ghz cpu's for air users, i wonder if there is a threshold or relationship to low v chips and warm CB's. i dont really know what to think cause im sad i found a good cpu that sucked ln2 . from my experience, L311B512 was nice, 5.95 cinebench, and probly 6 if you push. L310B488 all were nice, my nicest one 6ghz cinebench and 6.275 32m, but still not close to 8Packs 6.55 32m chip, wonder what it needed for 5ghz. WHERE ARE YOU COSTA RICA -

Ciruzzo have u tried running 4800 uncore at less than 1.4 -
call me a bunny but i just want to clarify this pic from shamino: for VCORE on Titan http://www.freeimagehosting.net/s7gtj In the pic above, by "bridge" does he mean solder 100ohm vr to ground, in that case only need to solder on one of the resistors. or does he mean bridge as in i have to link them. thanks.. and what is the overvoltage mod for?

i agree man, we all are honorable clockers here. if someone goes as far as running 2 systems to fake a video it will just be a lol and a shame
-
hahah if it beats der8auer must be validated by video ^^. Yea mass, thanks for doing all you could. lets get this show on the road

first results submitted in EMEA with video , it should be enough right

GBT Z87X-OC. I'm measuring with DMM, also if your vrin is high it pulls your vcore up regardless of what you set it, its strange lol. Yea hey maybe my cpu is normal will try it in MPower max for MOA. maybe i can do the .5v offset thing will see how it goes. for my 6375 pifast as soon as i get into the High V's like 1.8+ then when the run finished i have to hit LN2 mode when it ends otherwise my PC shutsdown instantly
-
i've found in my cpu i really really do need 2.8 vrin if im running 1.8vcore, if the 1v delta is lost i get instability and lower clocks, im maxing out 1.8vcore because all the board can give me is 2.8vrin, im not a moron tho i have tested ALL possible combos, high vcore low vrin, high vrin low vcore, my sweetspot is 1v offset DURING LN2, not necessarily on air. So yea just saying! ln2 is a mystic creature

just for shits and giggles try 2.2v VRin for your 1.4 run and see if its 4.9 stable? Just so i can writeoff in my head that 2.2 is needed for 1.4 to be stable on my side, i know its high but for me this batch likes it high. we all still learning so it will help for me to know if it helps you or not
