  1. I think it would be a good start if HWBOT crew apologised about not taking concideration on comunity opinion. Then I(and many more I beleave) would feel better and reconsider giving a chance to the cup.
  2. Nice diplomatic answer Peter but you still didn't convince anyone.
  3. Yea....everybody can have a setup like this
  4. @rbuass : What did you expected to happen Ronaldo when you aggreed to join Pro cup(entering a team)?That you would have a chance? No,he would need 4x hp(handpicked)Titan+4epower+knowledge on modding them+1~2more for buckup,a hp 2011s cpu,2x Xeon,one SR2 motherboard,a hp AMD cpu +board,a hp 3770k cpu,free LN2 and 1~2 months away from his job/wife :celebration:
  5. I just heard a voice from somewhere deep. The mummy returns...
  6. But to be more reallistick it sould be a poll only for Pro overclockers.I beleave that extreme overclockers who don't want Pros coming back to XOL will vote #1.
  7. Excluding from XOL a member like Ronaldo because he just works for a vendor is unfair.I know many overclockers from XOL that are getting way much heavier sponsorships because of good contacts and nobody told them not to be in XOL.Actually I beleave that at least the half members of the top 20 XOL are getting sponsorships one way or another.
  8. I voted option #1 that expesses best my opinion.
  9. When I saw hwbot moving on with this Pro Cup thing regardless the opinions of many Pro Overclockers I beleaved that there must have been some agreement with companies and sponsored members who would be ready to form teams. Now that the cup has began and there are only two teams formed witch seems they were not planned, this Cup looks a very big mistake.
  10. Me rbuass and others are compaining about this a long time now but massman doesn't seem to care. Seeing the Pro cup and knowing that other Greek overclockers are not willing to leave oc league and form a Pro team,I can't see myself joining a Pro cup.Teaming up with other country Pro overclockers doesn't seem an option too. I am very disapointed with HWBOT.
  11. Why only some of the Pro OC League have moved back to OC League(like me) and some others not(like rsannino) ?
  12. So now you have the extra voltage that formula has for cpu and mem and also not to shut down when changing bclk in windows?
  13. Benching with AMD is like benching with(very) old hardware.
  14. I guess the L in 7970L stands for "Lightning" so you don't need pll mod.It is the auxiliary voltage in MSI Afterburner.
  15. It is not related with temps(at least in my occasion). It has to do with gpu voltage/frequency and it is very common with 7970s.
  16. Great job Ronaldo. We had same issue with Aristidis when running with 3 cards on Trinity. It works ok if you open it when entering windows and you keep it running.
  17. So was I,but you get what I mean Anyway, let's get going and see what happens.
  18. The people that participate in Country Cup were all from Xtreme OC league that like using old hardware. The people in Pro league don't. And don't use sarcastic smilie about my thoughts on AMD.You could say that it's not the reason, and I can trust you on that. It's not a rediculus scenario that they might want to be more active in hwbot. We have allready seen that they are making effords to get the attention of people with raw Mhz and memory frequency.I didn't say it because I wanted to accuse you or hwbot. Competition between companies is a good thing to exist but as many of us in Pro league said,we like to use only the fastest hardware. I wonder what Vin's Andre's and the others top dogs thoughts are about this. Haven't heard their oppinions yet.
  19. Nice work George. And great pictures :celebration:
