None will spend 1600+€.I sold my RIVE, a 3960X and a reference 7970 that I won't use any more and I just need a few more money for getting the rest of the gear(maybe some of them used)witch I can also sell after competition;)
I also like it even with the new rules.We should be thankful to MSI for continuing this competition although the global crisis.I will participate and do my best(although I only have a decent 3930K and still trying to get all the rest hardware).

I can count only six(as many the phases on good reference cards maybe sapphire OC).The mem isen is on the other side.Maybe he used only one small resistor for all phases.
@hondacity:You can't remove ocp if not all phases modded.Even one unmodded phase can shut down card.
@rbuass:You can do it this way too(before stock resistors) if final resistance is right.
No,I didn't have any issues like this with the two 7970 I had.The first just degraded the core after using more than 1,65vgpu and the second one had issues with performance under cold.
