But IB-EX adds some Itanium features to X86 chips.

Part of me really hates you for using something at work to break my record that I have held a year and a half. The other part of me laughs at it taking a 50k server to do it. How many ram risers do you have in and what config is your memory? I think it is time to see what my 580 can do in cinebench.

Why all the hate against Multi-thread. Limited to Z87 ... that is hardly the most memory bandwidth friendly platform. I have my WR to thank for the G.skill ram I used on a 4p system. Terrible platform limits, terrible program choice.

I suggest adding FAHbench as a gpgpu benchmark it scales very well, works on AMD, Nvidia and Intel GPUS. And well anything that runs OpenCL so CPUs as well. http://fahbench.com/

Not sure if this will help with reading what you want... But I find TPC (Turion power control) very helpful for overclocking and monitoring AMD systems. Sounds like you may just need to break out the BKDG from the richland gen. http://amdath800.dyndns.org/amd/

I agree, it was also overly heavily weighted on the gpu side by having single and all out.

Under specific things it says no rules... Now... I chose not to go into Law but if you want that to be the rules you are going to have to change the wording because currently I am well within the letter of the rules. You have already bothered me about this set of runs btw... So please take a look at the date on the SS before commenting.

All of the other sections like wprime list explicitly what you have to post... cinebench explicitly says there are none. And in the general section... under screenshots... "In general, this is required:" You will also note it does not require them to be on the same SS... So technically I am in compliance with the letter of the guidelines... But as I said... All these runs were done in a 2 day span and posted the lowest when I was completed. ... All future runs will include a memory tab to comply with the general guidelines for submissions. I wish I had found the general guidelines before I made the runs...

I made these runs after reading the cinebench rules... which do not require it... After comments on my lower runs I have added a SS of one of my other benchmark runs at the same frequency that required the memory tab. As the system is down with a dead board I cannot currently supply these with cinebench but I do plan for higher runs before the competition is over.

All of my runs are from the end of January before I roasted the board... but rest assured I will have a new board before the comp is over and clock higher. Then again... its not like this is my highest score

I am surprised beckton got his high of a score... I have played with a 4p of the E7-4870s and their performance was much worse than what you have showed there...

Got this GL used and it was unstable at stock... it was finicky. I flashed to an older bios and it seemed to stabilize... Then I overclocked it like crazy and it seemed fine. Folded for a week and a passive component on the back of the board failed. but it was very finicky before I even overclocked it... So I am not sure what went wrong. I was keeping the VRMs cool had nice ram sinks on them. I have not had the time to replace the board and keep going but I plan to over the summer if I can't ship it off soon. Oh and yes you are still trying to beat my scores I set back at the end of January. I will not speak of how many higher ones I am still sitting on... Also... what "mods" have you done to your board?

Ah... It is not required on benchmarks that do not give global points. (like cinebench)... I will upload a ss that includes the memory tab. I only have one for the benchmark that requires it... So enter my lower wprime score at 3.8ghz (half multi higher) ram is at same settings on everything...

You can't really do much to ram settings on a server board other than make it slower... I am running ddr3 1600 cas6 ram at 1333 cas6, I did flash the XMP profile down into JEDEC so that I could use the cas6. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2658621

I am working on higher... waiting for a challenger I may or may not be sitting on a higher score There are 2 systems that could be faster... 8p 1567: E7-8870s (2.4ghz 10cores) a 4p of those does 31ish. (the problem is max threads is 64....) 4p 2011: E5-4650 (2.7ghz 8core) folding wise one of those is about 15-20% faster than I was at 3ghz.... So it would be close for sure. New to competitions here... How do you have a reference clock overclock competition? I have an E8500 sitting around so I am trying to snag a cheap 775 board.
