blastbeats4u Posted June 26, 2015 Share Posted June 26, 2015 I finally am single so I can afford an I7 now. This is my first Intel CPU and it seems to run kind of hot to me. According to XTU it idles around 45C. I've seen it get up to 94C during a benchmark. I have a corsair h60 cooler. Any thoughts? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If not, the contact is bad between the AIO and the CPU OR the contact between the cores and the IHS is bad. In the last case you have to delid the CPU to get better temperatures (void warranty) If the radiator gets warm maybe double the fans on the H60 (Push and pull configuration) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Alex@ro Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Just change that AIO with a proper one like thermaltake water extreme 3.0 or wc loop.I had one of those and after few weeks of use something went wrong and temps went through the roof,like 50c in idle...Also you did not mention the voltag used,at 1.45V for example your temps are pretty normal Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
