I finally am single so I can afford an I7 now. This is my first Intel CPU and it seems to run kind of hot to me. According to XTU it idles around 45C. I've seen it get up to 94C during a benchmark. I have a corsair h60 cooler. Any thoughts?

Heyo Blast!

Sorry about hearing you're single now, but I guess a Core i7 is pretty sweet so you have that going for you.

The temperatures seem a bit for AIO and (presumably) stock. What system are you running? Do you have a link to your XTU submission?

Things you can check:

Does the H60 radiator get warm ?

If not, the contact is bad between the AIO and the CPU OR the contact between the cores and the IHS is bad. In the last case you have to delid the CPU to get better temperatures (void warranty)

If the radiator gets warm maybe double the fans on the H60 (Push and pull configuration)

Just change that AIO with a proper one like thermaltake water extreme 3.0 or wc loop.I had one of those and after few weeks of use something went wrong and temps went through the roof, like 50c in idle...Also you did not mention the voltag used,at 1.45V for example your temps are pretty normal :D
