Not just the GSKILL kit, it's across the (DDR4) board.

Looks like supply is ramping up right in time for Skylake! :celebration:

I ordered a pair of cheap 2 x 16GB sets off Newegg on Sunday in preparation for Zen. Only to find out today that they oversold and canceled my order.

I thought I had beaten the Zen rush by ordering early. But apparently, I wasn't early enough.

For me as a passionate Mem tester this is a very uncomfortable situation, if I buy, test and resell after this I have to ask prices I do not like and also think cannot justify. So my last kit I ordered that worked and was resold was from december, (after this I got 3 doas and stopped) ,and even on this I only was even because I was lucky. neat 200 euros for 3600c17 or 250 to 300 for 4000 bins is madness, and even 3200c15 2x8GB kit are 150+

This whole DDR4 shortage is not playing along well with the Zen demand. :(

I did manage to get some 16GB sticks without paying an arm and a leg, but that sold out within hours after I ordered. At least I have a tracking # this time... So I think I'm safe this time.

Why do smartphones need DDR4? The lower voltage?
