lanbonden Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Wow, that thunderbird sure is much beter in 3d! Nice score so far. I don't think 9k, mid 8's probably. It's mostly about CPU clock and GPU core clock. Looks like 9k wasnt a problem after all Quote
havli Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 1,1GHz TBird... so much power I wish I had at least 800 MHz TBird, or the goldfinger device. I believe I could get over 9k as well. Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Don't think I did anything special. It's just the CPU power and someone with better knowledge would get higher scores. This run is with default clocks on the card, but 185/210 got me about 10 points... Will change windows and try again next week. 44.03 driver seems to be the choice for XP with this system + benchmark combination. It's better than 66.93 and one older detonator driver I tried. Maybe omega could get it higher. If I manage to overclock the CPU higher, sure 10K is within reach. Edited January 10, 2016 by I.nfraR.ed Quote
Gumanoid Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Nice mobo! My Giga 7VM (KX133) can't start with Thunderbird-(( Quote

I.nfraR.ed Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Pure luck, I guess? Posted on a local forum that need slot A system with preferably T-Bird CPU and a guy responded I'm not able to clock it higher on this motherboard though and don't want to mess up with resistors for 10.5x multi. Want to keep it authentic. Quote
