Make usb bootable key , copy efiflash + "biosname".bin + autorun.bat ( efiflash "biosname".bin \Nold ) . boot from the usb type autorun.bat " Et voilà " bios downgrade .
April 1, 20178 yr or my method with z170x soc force. 1. start flashing some bios then shutdown rig during update. 2. use fat32 usb2.0 usb key with wanted bios file renamed to GIGABYTE.bin, then insert it into usb flashback port ( dont know if z270 soc has one ) 3. press and hold bios flashback button until board finds and starts to reflash the ROM. 4. bios switches should be in single bios mode or the board will start to reflash from,or simply change to backup bios chip.
