miker2ka Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Just got myself a MOCF, and trying to get 699 marks on 6100. CPU can handle 4000 12-11-11 tight. But i cannot make it run the multiplier x 37 with 102.80 + bclk. Except RAM setting i tried : C-states disabled Clockgen divider 12 pll ort 32 cold bug killer 1.8 vccpll 2.5 bclk 102.80- 102.93 bios L1.31 Win 10 enterprise 32bit ltsb Everty time i boot into os the multiplier self adjusts to 35 . I'm running out of ideas!! Quote
miker2ka Posted July 6, 2017 Author Posted July 6, 2017 If i have formula drive installed when i boot os it resets bclk to 100. If i change bclk from os i get instat crash. Quote
miker2ka Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 Got it to work with another version of formula drive. Now im stuck at 696. Are the pll ort and divider settings good? And what microcode is ok to use? Or it doesn't matter? Quote
Alan_Alberino Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Don't care about CPU multiplier in x35, just use 102,9375 to boot then raise in special AFD to 102,97XX and put x37 multiplier... Rest of the settings are great... You should get 697 with 102,9375 and x37 multiplier... Quote
suzuki Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Great thread and help from you guys. Subbed to remember what to do with my i3 6100 ). I hope the imc is decent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Quote
miker2ka Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) I got 697 on win 10 enterprise ltsb 32. Now i tried pro and i get max 694.. next bclk lvl in afd is 103... and it's unstable. If i get 695 often and 697 rarely am i on the path to 699? Or i shoud get like 697 often to hope for 699? Edited July 7, 2017 by miker2ka Quote
miker2ka Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) special AFD What do you mean by "special afd"? Edited July 7, 2017 by miker2ka Quote
miker2ka Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 Think XTU doesn't like bclk 103. I managed to boot but xtu reads 100 C on CPU and the score is bad... arround 200 marks. Is there a way to put bclk slightly under 103? Quote
Alan_Alberino Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 What do you mean by "special afd"? http://picx.xfastest.com/nickshih/asrock/AFDSetup(v3.0.92.1).rar Boot at 102,9375 from bios and use that AFD to set 102,97XX (The last one before 103) Clockgen divider 12 , pll ort =32 , clockgen voltage 3.6 (safe limit) , cold bug killer 1.8 , vccpll 2.5 3866x102,9375 mems 12-12-12-28 220 1T 49/50 6/6 should give you 698 with good OS Quote
miker2ka Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017 I can get ram to 12-11-11-28 220 1t. Rtl 50/51 sometimes. Dunno how to set them to be 50/51 every boot Quote
miker2ka Posted July 10, 2017 Author Posted July 10, 2017 (edited) @Alan_Alberino, ty for afd. Should 102.9375 blck with ram 12-11-11-28 220 1T 50/51 7/7 give me 699 eventualy? I can't get to bclk 102.97, it crashes. Max i can get is 102.95. And clockgen voltage is clk vdd? And how can i get ram to boot 50/51 every time? With 102.93 it's a bunny. I managed to boot 50/51 with 102 and raise to 102.93-102.95 with afd Edited July 10, 2017 by miker2ka Quote
topyoyoguybest Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Is there a fancy AFD for big OCF that adjusts between 102.9375 and 103.000? I picked up a 6100, also stuck on 697. Maybe futile on the big board, but I'm learning a lot, thanks to you guys! Good luck miker2ka. Quote
miker2ka Posted July 11, 2017 Author Posted July 11, 2017 The AFD in this post shoud work. But it only worked for me with settings above and microcode 2d. And 698 is preatty rare. I hit it 5 times in about 400 runs. Quote
suzuki Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 I think the xtu version. Is important as well . Maybe someone can tell which one they used for 699 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Quote
miker2ka Posted July 11, 2017 Author Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) I use 6.0.2.8. Think this is the right one. Maybe is just a matter of pacience. 743 was hit with this version. Maybe someone can tell us about other cpu settings like cstates , speed step, cpu amplitude, slew step or rate. E.g. with c states on i get consistent higher scores. miker2ka Posted July 11, 2017 Author Posted July 11, 2017 I also tried 6.0.2.7 and 6.1.2.11 and got 698 with both... still no 699 Quote
Alan_Alberino Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Over 20x698.... Didn't rerun enough ^^ Should be getting constant 697s and 698s with good settings... I also need to infinite rerun, was getting those constant 697s and 698s but didn't rerun enough... Quote
miker2ka Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 Should be getting constant 697s and 698s Around 1x698 every 40 minutes is constant enough? Quote
Alan_Alberino Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Around 1x698 every 40 minutes is constant enough? I was getting 1 or 2 each 10 runs... Quote
miker2ka Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 Running nuts here... With bllk .97 i get lower scores than .93. I switched to w8 pro 32 9200 and i can't even hit 698. (And same like w10 ltsb with c-states on i get better scores...) What m i missing? Quote
miker2ka Posted July 20, 2017 Author Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) Got the bunnyer ....... 699.... weeee. I used XTU 6.0.2.14. Win 10 32bit N LTSB. (All updates except the one from july 2017) FCLK 1000 and BCLK 102.95. C-States enabled. RAM 12-11-11-28-1 220 50-51/7-7 Microcode 2D Clockgen divider 12 pll ort 32 cold bug killer 1.8 AFD 3.0.92.1 Bios L1.31 vccpll 2.5 Thanks to @Alex@ro @mllrkllr88 @Luumi and everyone who posted here. miker2ka Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) Settings also works for 743. For 1043 same settings except speed step (must be on). All 3 CPUs were run with performance power plan. For 1110 was different: C-states off Speed step on Fclk 400 Bclk 103 if cpu can handle (if not 102.97) Power plan BALANCED (dunno why but was more consistent) For every CPU you can tweak from regedit: EnablePrefetcher 1 (default is 3) I added Enable Superfetch and set value 1(default is 0) Every 2-3 hours delete content of c:\windows\prefetch and restart As for time needed i got results in : 699 - 30 hours 743 - 8 hours 1043 - 20 minutes (i retested and got another 2 scores 20 min each) 1110 - 3 hours 1215- coming soon (at least i hope ) Edited July 28, 2017 by miker2ka Quote
