February 8, 20188 yr What is causing the super high CPU load when I am on this forum? Using Chrome on my laptop on this forum 92% load using any other website always 3%. It's like the site is using my laptop to do something???
February 8, 20188 yr Crew There's a coin mining program which keeps coming back due to the age of the forum, which is one of the reasons they're planning on moving to a new platform. Using ublock origin or a couple of others should block it.
February 8, 20188 yr I've used ms antivirus, which removes it. As george said, ublock origin works too.
February 17, 20188 yr Author I have been Using ublock origin which worked fine until yesterday now it's loading the CPU up again. Is this the same for you?
