Hello HWBot team,

I got this OEM MSI GTS450 with a GF106 core and 128 bit interface. However it only has 144 shaders opposed to the default 192. It also only features 512MB of GDDR5 memory. I don't know if this justifies a new category but I thought I'd give it a try before bricking the card trying to unlock shaders or something.

Sure that's a real GTS450 and not a Chinese knockoff?

Well GPUDB have this card too:

Maybe Chinese but as long as the specs get properly detected by GPU-Z all is fine.

I'm happy to enter it in another, existing category if there is one that fits. Other than that, no idea, I got it in a box off ebay with a lot of other random, untested cards. I'm pretty sure it's just an OEM card though that was never sold on its own.

Thanks a lot! Now I can submit my scores there. I would have liked the competition of the 192 shader category (which is packed) but it's not really a fair fight with only 144.  

Pop the cooler off and check if it's actually a GF106 under there

 

I did beforehand, else I wouldn't have made this request. I would take a pic but I don't want to dismount the cooler again just for this.
