Collector value of ddr3/other kits?

Here's a couple more rare sets.

Vaporware:

F3-16000CL9T-6GBPI-B

Should be 1GBit Samsung D-Die, known by the JEDEC bin HCF0.

Probably a 1.9v bin but I would not be surprised if it was a 1.65v bin, apparently this has existed for 1gb stick based kits.

Never actually seen one of these outside of press release.

F3-17600CL7D-4GBFLS

Highest known Flare bin, only ever seen in QVLs to my knowledge. Obviously PSC.

F3-17600CL9D-4GBTDS

Only seems to exist in QVL Hell unfortunately. Not even the best QVL-only BBSE from G.Skill.

F3-18400CL8D-4GBPS

Rumored to exist in ES form, may have been mentioned on some press release or promotional material but I haven't even seen it on a QVL. I would assume these are Hypers running flat 8s, given the time it was mentioned? Who knows, would love to see one of these pop up in the wild.

Near-Vaporware:

F3-16000CL6Q-8GBPIS

Not much special other than it being a quad kit. I've never seen it go retail, but an ES has been seen at a G.Skill booth from a trade show.

F3-14400CL7Q-8GBFL

An ES was spotted at a G.Skill booth from a trade show.

F3-14400CL7T2-12GBTDS???

An ES was spotted at a G.Skill booth from a trade show.

Team Xtreem LV DDR3 2400

I've seen an entire tray of this on Facebook, without heatsinks. This seems common for Teamgroup high bins. Don't think it ever went retail. Highest bin of BBSE.

Team Xtreem LV DDR3 2800

One of the highest frequency Samsung D-Die bins. Judging by the packaging, it may have actually launched at some point, but I haven't seen any listings for it. A user who received the kit said they were retail as well.

Team Xtreem LV DDR3 3000

Almost certainly a 2GBit IC, probably D-Die. Would be the highest bin by a mile. I have heard this bin was cancelled for being "too difficult" or something like that.

F3-17066CL9T-6GB-T

Alternative part number for F3-17066CL9T-6GBTDS? Seen at a trade show.

F3-14400CL7T-6GBPI-BT

Apparently seen at a trade show or something.

F3-20000CL9D-4GBTDD

I don't know much about this specific set, honestly. Someone just sent a picture of it to me. I'll update with more information whenever I get some. I have a sneaking suspicion this bin did actually have a retail sale somewhere.

hello

you maybe can help me im come from china and high collector amount of PC hardware from guys. I got offer for corsair special 1/1 kit. It say "JAKE" and speed is unseen. Can anyone give more info please?

First of all , we are assuming this is real and not some kind of fake.

If it's real , and according to that era , we are talking about some special bin (pretested) of Corsair Dominator GT (probably GTX2)

That "JAKE" marking , is leading me to Jake Crimmins (aka CPT. PLANET) , who was a very active xtreme ocer at that time and also a Corsair stuff member.

To understand a bit more about what Jake did at Corsair

I have a lot, let's keep it to DDR1 (Other) for now. These are some of them:

BH5 - Mushkin PC3500 Black Level II (bought new), OCZ PC3200 Gold Edition GX XTC, Corsair PC3500 (some bought new)
CH5 - Mushkin PC3200 Level I (991084), XP4000 Redline (991440)
CH5 - Corsair 3200C2PRO
CH5 - GEIL Ultra PC3200

Samsung TCCD - Corsair 3200XLPRO, ADATA Vitesta DDR566, GEIL PC4400 (GLX14400DC)
Samsung IC (Other, unknown) - GEIL Golden Dragon 256MB and 512MB (with packaging)

Micron 5B G - Crucial Ballistix (will do 220MHz C2 tight PI32M)

I also own 4 GEIL 1GB dimms which will do 210MHz C2 tight and PI32M. That is rare. IC unknown.

Some high bin and/or rare kits I own:

  • D9GT - Corsair Dominator CM3X1024-1800C7DIN (1800 7-7-7 2V) - Definitely not as rare as the CM3X2048 version but one of the best bins
  • Hyper - Corsair Dominator GT CMG6GX3M3A2000C7 (2000 7-8-7 1.65V)
  • Hyper - SuperTalent Project X WX200UX6G7 (2000 7-7-7 1.65V) - A very aggressive XMP, though not sure on actual quality
  • BBSE - G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-17000CL8D-4GBXMD (2133 8-9-8 1.65V)
  • BBSE - G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-17600CL9D-4GBXMD (2200 9-9-9 1.65V)
  • BBSE - Kingmax Hercules FLKE85F-B8KHA (2200 10-10-10 1.5-1.7V) - I don't think they're all that great but it's quite a high frequency
  • BDBG - Kingston T1 KHX2250C9D3T1FK3/6GX (2250 9-11-9 1.65V), KHX2333C9D3T1FK3/3GX (2333 9-11-10 1.65V) and KHX2333C9D3T1K2/4GX (2333 9-11-9 1.65V) - high frequency Kingston bins, though not the highest
  • PSC - G.Skill Pi F3-16000CL7D-4GBPIS (2000 7-9-7 1.65V) - Nothing special quality-wise, but seem to be rare simply due to a lack of sales
  • PSC - G.Skill Pi F3-16000CL6D-4GBPIS and F3-16000CL6T-6GBPIS (2000 6-9-6 1.65V) - Very famous bin and was very popular back in the day due to the tight spec and some impressive kits found in this bin
  • PSC - G.Skill Flare F3-16000CL7D-4GBFLS (2000 7-9-7 1.65V) - The highest bin of Flares, which are quite rare since they were made for AMD
  • Rev.D - G.Skill Trident X F3-2666C10Q-16GTXD (2666 10-12-12 1.65V) - G.Skill's highest bin
  • Rev.D - Corsair Dominator Platinum CMD16GX3M4A2666C10 (2666 10-12-12 1.65V) - The single best retail bin1
  • 2Gb BFR - Corsair Dominator GTX8 CMGTX8 (2400 10-12-10 1.65V) - Useless for benching but a collector's item
  • CFR - Kingston "Overclocker's dream memory" (2800 12-14-14-32 1.65V) - ES, have changed hands a couple times as a "kit" of 4, I believe there are 8-10 total but somebody can correct me if there are more
  • MFR - G.Skill Trident X F3-2933C12D-8GTXDG (2933 12-14-14-35 1.65V) - High frequency MFR, though not G.Skill's highest

Wishlist (retail or apparently retail; P.S. my PMs are open :P) :

  • D9GT - pretty much any well-binned 2GB sticks, they a bit harder to find than 1GB since it is such an old IC
  • PSC/Hyper - Corsair GTX1-6
  • Hyper - Adata Extreme Edition v2 AD32133F002GM(O)U3K - novelty mostly, very high voltage spec and seems to be extremely rare
  • BDBG - KHX2400C9D3T1FK2/4GX, Kingston's highest retail bin
  • PSC - pretty much any of the high frequency (over 2200) bins, whether for novelty or quality depends on the particular kit (F3-18400CL8D-4GBPIS, F3-19200CL8Q-8GBZHD, F3-19200CL8D-4GBPIS, F3-19200CL9D-4GBPIS, F3-20000CL9D-4GBTDS, PVV34G2500C9K, etc.)
  • PSC - F3-16000CL8D-4GBPIS - 2000 8-9-8 and not Corsair, lol, another case of seeming to be extremely rare simply due to a lack of sales. The one result I've heard was that it was garbage, but that won't stop me!
  • Various SKUs interesting for other reasons -- using weird ICs (very old 512Mb kits), kits with an IC not usually meant for that model (BBSE 2000 8-8-8), etc. And maybe other stuff, this was off the top of my head :)

And, obviously, there are lot of special demo/ES/etc SKUs that would be cool to own, or other rare bins that I'm not sure went retail, but the likelihood of getting most nowadays is nearly zero.

Thanks redux
