superpatodonaldo Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 (edited) Hi to all I'd like to improve BDie oc on Cezanne, please someone can suggest voltages and timings to set? I am on air, maybe cold in future, I guess. I think it is a little bit different from intel platforms. Thank you very much in advance Edited September 19, 2021 by superpatodonaldo Quote
superpatodonaldo Posted September 20, 2021 Author Posted September 20, 2021 any help? about voltages: VSOC max 1,25v on air / H2O ? VCPU max 1,25v on air / H2O? VDRAM ? other voltages or volt's range? mem timings? thanks in advance Quote
Splave Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 hey mate, what board and CPU are you on. And what benchmark you shooting for as that will determine if you want coupled mode or high freq. 1 Quote
superpatodonaldo Posted September 20, 2021 Author Posted September 20, 2021 Thank you for reply 5600G/5700G on ROG B550-E Bdie A0 and I'm waiting for a 3800c14 neo Basically like to improve cinebenchs, geeks, gpupi, x265 Quote
superpatodonaldo Posted September 23, 2021 Author Posted September 23, 2021 no input? I see some zen timings tab pics, but need to know voltages' limit (don't like to kill cpu or ram chip) Quote
Splave Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Sorry, yeah so you want to stay 1:1 fabric and memory. Safe or not I'm not sure but on air I have used 1.45vcore and 1.45vsoc. dram 1.92-1.96 for 4800 14-14 Sounds like your voltage just needs to be increased. 1 Quote
superpatodonaldo Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 thank you very much, yes, I am testing around VSOC 1,25v and VDRAM max 1,7v 4800c14 or similar need maxmem? secondary and tertiary subtimings AUTO or manually settings? Quote
unityofsaints Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 (edited) I found it really easy to clock, much easier than messing around with IO/SA on Intel. Set Vdimm that your sticks like (test on other platform maybe), make sure the CPU stays cool (so don't set like 1.5V+ vcore), active cooling on the RAM. With just this I was able to get 4200 12-11-11-10 1T gear 1 stable ? Maybe a small bump for Vsoc is necessary but that's chip-dependent. Edited December 1, 2021 by unityofsaints Quote
