TerraRaptor Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Nice northwood, nice score. Is it stock board or epowered? What voltage? Quote
ObscureParadox Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Thanks guys 31 minutes ago, TerraRaptor said: Nice northwood, nice score. Is it stock board or epowered? What voltage? It's just a good old fashioned volt modded board, I tried Antinomy's bios on it but had a whole lot of memory related issues, so going to try again sometime with the stock Asus bios. Voltage was 2.03v at -140c, any colder and I lost stability, Northwood seems to have FSB issues when too cold. 2 Quote

Very interesting! 3 hours ago, ObscureParadox said: I tried Antinomy's bios on it but had a whole lot of memory related issues This is pretty strange since for P4C800-E it shouldn't affect behaviour in any way, just add settings. Could you specify settings, RAM and problems? There's an issue when you use non-default straps and dividers you have to set tRD (PL) manually, usually 5 or 6 is the one to start with. This is the only issue I know with unmatching FSB and strap/divider settings. Quote

There's a strong strong chance I was doing something wrong, I'm trying again tonight with a different CPU and will let you know if I have further issues, but I remember if I set 200FSB and any 1:1 divider it wouldn't boot with TCCD, BH-5 or Micron chips, but I'll keep a close eye on tRD as I tried setting primaries only as well as advanced memory timings and couldn't get it to work. 1 Quote
