Rasparthe Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 +1 to HWBOT staff for doing the right thing here. Quote
GunGod Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) Hmm seen bugsy bugs in cl8 and 10 too noone notice ? Edit: Then I checked Elpida's datasheets, I think the correct MGH-E datasheet is not available, so I had a look at the one for EDJ1108BASE in general. Right at the beginning it says: • /CAS Latency (CL): 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 • /CAS Write Latency (CWL): 5, 6, 7, 8 Seems like CL4 is not supported by DDR3 at all and the boards are running at some other CAS Latency. I know some guys think those clocks are real, but please show me CL5 at those clocks, it should be easy, right? Can you show me in datasheets where it say they can do 3000Mhz ? If it's not writen does not mean is not possible yes or no ? Edited October 11, 2011 by GunGod Quote
kikicoco1334 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 DDR3 in CL4 stage is not valid and will be removed. So, let's not try to bug as much scores as possible. yay! Quote

If it's not writen does not mean is not possible yes or no ? Well it doesn't say that it isn't possible, whereas it does show that CAS4 is not possible. So when it says that 3000 Mhz should not be possible then I will agree with you. Since it says CAS4 should not be possible I think they made the right choice. The fact you would like to see obviously bugged runs count is.......interesting. Quote
GunGod Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 The fact you would like to see obviously bugged runs count is.......interesting. No i don't want u just got me wrong. But the scores in cl8 and 10 are also bugged and still there. Quote

Hondacity Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 the awarded points...why is it 10pts for 1st place? will this go to the team? will this be permanent points? 10pts is too small it should be like 100pts for 1st place 80 pts for 2nd team and so on... I'd love to hear everybody's opinions Quote
Crew Turrican Posted October 28, 2011 Crew Posted October 28, 2011 those points will go nowhere i guess. those are just to rank the competition. Quote
Christian Ney Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 those points will go nowhere i guess. those are just to rank the competition. [teacher mode] With rev4 there are now competition points Little update is needed [/teacher mode] Quote
Crew Turrican Posted October 28, 2011 Crew Posted October 28, 2011 hmm, and that's work already or is it a bit broken? Quote
Hondacity Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 team points for team competition... this will be good for hwbot teams will be encouraged to compete but not for 10 points for 100 pts thats gonna be soo nice for the team 200 pts will be too much lol Quote
Mr.Scott Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 My understanding was that those points (10 down to 1) are just to "grade" the entries in the competition, so to speak. In actuality, each entrant receives 1 competition point for the team for participating, regardless of what position he/she comes in. I could be wrong, but that's what I understood. Quote
Hondacity Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 competitions that encourage team points... would be good for hwbot just saying Quote
Crew Don_Dan Posted October 31, 2011 Crew Posted October 31, 2011 Well played, ocaholics, well played. Quote
