rbuass Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Does anybody know what happens? I did run Aquamark3 (changed DLL for old AM3)... CPU 2600K about 5940 Mhz (4 cores HT off) Windows XP With and without LOD With and without Direct3D Overrider VGA 1300/1250...1350/1300...1450/1300 eg....eg...eg...eg But I did not get more than 200K points... Don't know why it sucks Thanks in advance Quote
Christian Ney Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 (edited) Use Windows 7 and change aquamark.exe into 3dmark03.exe or massmanFTW.exe works as well Also do the nvidia inspector tweak: ''show unknown settings from nvidia predefined profiles'' and then change ''pre_d3d9_compatibility_bits'' setting to 0x00000040 (the setting for 3DMark01) Edited December 22, 2011 by Christian Ney Quote
K404 Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 If it's with GTX580, using XP is a waste of time, the scores are just terrible Quote
rbuass Posted December 22, 2011 Author Posted December 22, 2011 Thanks Christian... System just changed at inspector...that's the problem... Will do another XP clan and try again... K404... Old times that the Radeons get amazing scores at W7 Today XP to GTX580 is the better choice http://hwbot.org/submission/2233155_aristidis_aquamark_geforce_gtx_580_471349_marks Quote
Christian Ney Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 wow, impressive result from Aristidis under Windows XP Quote
Christian Ney Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 me as well @ Ronaldo, Try to set affinity on all core using task manager, may be the issue Quote
BenchZowner Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 You just have to run it a gazillion times, 3/15 runs run normally, and score pretty good Quote
