Gunslinger
yeah but within the drivers kind of like how you can enable "physics acceleration on GPU" in the Nvidia drivers in Vantage, but not ATI ? command line in the benchmark = no no driver level = acceptable So why the double standard? nzaneb
Yes it's very similar. It's not too fair that Ati/AMD can disable tesselation and utilize the benefits in Heaven, but nVidia can't enable PPU and utilize the benefits.
Massman
Just had a look at the benchmark module. User accessed command line during benchmark. At the moment, there's no automated script running to remove this kind of scores, but we can see it from the logs. Not valid .
nzaneb
I didn't make the rules, lol. I've known about this "tweak" for quite awhile... making any adjustments to the benchmark while the benchmark is running seems a bit unethical to me... but to each their own. zeneffect
the end result was that the score was invalidated and that it is detectable which is good. thanks for the clarification.

Massman
Fyi, we also planned an on-site checking mechanism to refuse submissions like this: http://bugs.hwbot.org/browse/HWBOT-669. V1.0.4 will also have an update for better security.
