Massman Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Hiwa said: AWESOME job lately Gyrock-san So true! Top-notch benching, man! True Team Japan style! Quote
Delex Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Great score, congrats!! Which mod you made? OCP as phil's or anything else?? Quote
Gyrock Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Thank you guys!! New card worked well:) DELEX-san : Yes, Phil's mod. But still got OCP@1660:D Quote
Delex Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Wow!! Should you make a picture of the card for me? thanks!!! Quote
Gyrock Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 DELEX-san : I've already killed two cards. They could be too weak to handle high current. Or maybe it's my bad soldering. So I would not like to show my pics. Sorry but please understand my feelings:) Roberto : I think 1660 is not impossible for everyone, with a bit of luck:D Quote
Massman Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Have you tried OCP via Rampage 4 Extreme method? Or only Phil's mod? Quote
Gyrock Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Hi Massman, I've tried R4E soft OCP Mod and it worked like Fredyama-san did. http://kingpincooling.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1580&page=4 Did you see the thread above? Quote
Massman Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Ah, yes, saw that. Any comment on the differences between the two methods? I assume the OCP mod through R4E is a lot easier to do? Does it also give better results (I saw the comment of OCP at 1660MHz) ? Quote
Gyrock Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 No difference about OCP as far as I know. Soft OCP is a lot easier to do but at benching I think hard mod is easier to handle, virtually nothing to do in the session. For this card, I haven't tried R4E-mod so I'm not sure if it can give better result or not:D Quote
Massman Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Oh, ok, thanks for the feedback! If you end up trying the R4E-mod, I'm very interested in the feedback . Once again, congrats for the recent scores!! Quote
phil Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Great job man.How much voltage did you use? Quote
