sin0822 Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 the BIOSes stasio just posted for GB boards, they fix the quasi boot issues with sandy bridge, both the one wher the board cycles a few times before booting, and the one in which the board says OC failed after 2 restarts in a row. This BIOS fixes both, fixes mouse support for a lot of people, and adds in a few extras. the issues were only on 2600K, 2500K was okay, so if you have Ivy or 2500K this BIOS update might help with mouse compatibility and add named profiles in the BIOS. Cool. Quote

Eggy88 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Great thread. Does anyone know anything regarding Multiplier Wall on Ivy Bridge? Does it have a MP wall like SB did? If so is it the same procedure as SB to find max multi or how does that work? I have a couple of 3770K's and a 3570K at home ATM and going under LN2 tomorrow, so would like to see if they have a max multiplier before trowing on the pot. ATM i'm running chilled 10c water but even @ 1.35v it loads into the high 70's with prime so not really sure how it would respond to the 1.55v that is used in the Max Multi procedure (if that still applies for Ivy Bridge) Thanks Quote

sin0822 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 hey massman, the BIOSes that stasio posted last for all the GB boards in post #55 are BIOSes in which there is a fix which solves most if not all of the sandy bridge issues including the looping and the OC fail message for all the boards when 2600K is installed. For the UD5H its F6I. Also the OC profiles added guys, they can be transferred from user to user as long as the model number of the board is the same we can exchange profiles I already tried it, it is awesome. Quote

Andrix85 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Hello boys. I have some problems with my new MSI Z77 GD65. I can oc my G SKILL GBHX well with bios 10.2, with 10.3 I have problems of stability. Is because the 10.3 bios is for Ivy? Thanks Quote
