HobieCat Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Nice run, and very nice NB frequency on that chip. Quote
just_nuke_em Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Everyone keeps telling me they are hypers, but my good hypers will do 6-6-5 @ 1800 and these won't, so I duno... Quote
jjjc Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 6-7-7 1600mhz isn't very hyper-ish. My guess would be another elpida IC, like BBSE. Nice run Nuke, awesome NB frequency. Quote
TaPaKaH Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 800 6-7-7 is within the range of multiple ICs, even PSC ... if these are indeed Perfect Storm, 0640 in SN = BBSE, 0690 = Hypers Quote

BeepBeep2 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Hmm, thats a shame. Are you going to retest with Hypers? I have a solid 955 and a dewar on the way. Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Even my worst hypers (Adata XPG+ 1866C8) do 800 6-6-6 with ~1.7V. Are there really hypers that can't do that? Quote

Going to rerun with these http://hwbot.org/submission/2222644_just_nuke_em_wprime_32m_phenom_ii_x4_955_be_6sec_62ms Can't wait to have more competition Even my worst hypers (Adata XPG+ 1866C8) do 800 6-6-6 with ~1.7V. I remember someone on XS mentioning that they saw value sticks at their work with MGH-E on them, so they tried a few and they were absolute shit lol... Then again the majority consensus on the adatas at first was that they were low-binned too but you see them running on SB all the time. Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Yeah, I remember that as well, but I'm kinda not talking about low-bin PC3-1333 stuff. His sticks are rated for 2000. Maybe beaten to death? Quote

Who knows. Average for Corsair Dom 2000 C8 was about 1700 6-6-6 with 1.7v and above. PerfectStorm were all MNH-E, so they could be degraded/beaten to death...but I've also seen results from the same kits doing upwards of 1900 6-6-6. Quote
just_nuke_em Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Definitely could be beaten to death. Hard to tell when buying used Quote
just_nuke_em Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 don't expect anything amazing, my efficiency is horrible compared to you guys. Quote
BeepBeep2 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I'm 10 seconds off of where I should be efficiency wise so mine is bad too Quote
