Guest GoriLLakoS
Why screenshot CPU-Z says FX-57?

TaPaKaH
you question weirdness of Knut's CPU collection samples? I believe back in the day there were 'unique' San Diego CPUs that disguised themselves as other models (text on IHS and CPUz did not match) - this is one of them. Hyperhorn
If that's the case here an uploader should attach a pic of the IHS and/or any other (additional) proof in advance.
Guest GoriLLakoS
Maybe it is one GodLike CPU from this batch http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?64370-Fx&p=889817&viewfull=1#post889817 "This cpu was one of a few "special" fx55's hard-coded by AMD's DVT (Design Verification Testing) team as an FX57" Move him up to the FX-57 category cause i am preparing for a 939 war

Not so easy to find it among so many others ^^
I.nfraR.ed
I don't think it's needed, it doesn't prove anything, but the fact you have such a cpu. Theoretically it doesn't stop you from using real FX-57, even if you show a picture of that particular FX-55 Same valid for all K7 cpus. We just hope everyone is playing fair like you . Yeah, it's rather unfortunate that this particular chip is the best one Got a 3850 chip that show the correct model.
