tphase Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I have implemented encryption for the XML datafile! Now cheaters can't cheat anymore. Current version is 2.101 Download link: http://www.pcgamingxtreme.ro/ Quote
Devroush Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 (edited) Looks good! Can they submit if the number of decimals is changed to something other than the default 80k? That should not be allowed. edit: Just tried out, scales well and submits nicely. Apparently you can submit if you change the slider though, and the slider resets to the default position so there's even no way of telling http://hwbot.org/submission/2356545_ http://hwbot.org/submission/2356544_devroush_multi_core_pi_core_i7_720qm_1min_7sec_768ms Also, you should try to use the API to automatically submit the score and delete the file locally once it's submitted. If you need help with the submission API, just ask. Edited February 14, 2013 by Devroush Quote
Crew Sweet Posted February 15, 2013 Crew Posted February 15, 2013 Hey there guys, with the new version, i cant upload new submission. "Invalid data file: Unable to parse the datafile" This is my problem or datafile problem ? Quote
tphase Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) I removed the slider. Default setting for benchmark is 80.000 decimals. The target is to submit to HWBOT and we have to make sure that all users are benching at the same settings [80k decimals] Download Link: http://www.pcgamingxtreme.ro Edited February 15, 2013 by tphase Quote
inventpl Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Hey there guys, with the new version, i cant upload new submission. "Invalid data file: Unable to parse the datafile" This is my problem or datafile problem ? With new version I have the same problem. Quote
GENiEBEN Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 With new version I have the same problem. What OS are you guys using? Quote
GENiEBEN Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 XP SP2 and SP3 For Windows XP make sure you install vcredis 32bit (or 64bit) Quote
inventpl Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I use 32 bit XP and I have this installed. Quote
GENiEBEN Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 so, where is the xml file stored? Where the app is. Quote
knopflerbruce Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Weird, I only see the screenshots when I press the submit button, although it says the xml file has been created. Quote
GENiEBEN Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Weird, I only see the screenshots when I press the submit button, although it says the xml file has been created. Yeah, it has one small problem that I noticed: it runs the encryption tool without admin rights, so the best solution is to disable UAC. If you're on XP, use the vcredis I posted above (EXACTLY that one, not other versions). If you still can't run it PM me. Quote
knopflerbruce Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Seems to work. Needs to be added to the benchmark page IMO. Thanks Quote
knopflerbruce Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Another one: system requirements? (want to know what CPUs that can run this benchmark) Quote
GENiEBEN Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Another one: system requirements? (want to know what CPUs that can run this benchmark) Should run on anything, don't think it is optimized for a certain instruction set. Lowest score I've seen was on a Pentium D I think... Quote
knopflerbruce Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Nothing happens when I open it on an xp install with a barton. Quote
GENiEBEN Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Nothing happens when I open it on an xp install with a barton. Think it is the lack of SSE2. Quote

tphase Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) Wow, Intel is paying sponsorship ? I would like that... No sire, the benchmark displays the Intel or AMD logo depending of what CPU do you use. Edited March 3, 2014 by tphase Quote
