I see that the first 2 stages require AMD CPUs. For the other stages INTEL system can be used, or not?

It would make sense that AMD be used throughout, but it is unclear atm...

The main stages are indeed AMD limited, the precision challenges are not platform limited.

Are you using 980X or any other very recent VGA card? This might be due to the FM Systemscanner-thing not working properly

Using Gigabyte 5770, Gigabyte mb, and AMD 1090T for the contest. I can public all other bench's but '03. Anyone else having a problem with this? Got some great results but can't submit... PM'd Admin at the ORB but no reply yet.

Rick, don't you have any other processor to try? you don't need a 6core, not even a 4core for stage 3.

I don't have problems with i5/750.

Also catalyst 10.4 are not FM approved. i guess this is not a problem, is it?

I'm using an i7-960 w/ HD5870 SOC and 10.4 drivers.

When you said you can't publish you mean that you can't upload the result to FM?

Make sure you are using the system info. When i don't use system info i cannot upload

I'm using system info and I have the latest patch. I had a 50268 score yesterday but I couldn't make it public because of ORB not working (as usual). As far as I remember the orb has never been working

What happens if several results are the same in the Precision Challenge ? ect. if 5 people hit the score 50268

I finally managed to publish a score! Despite having the latest patch I could only publish two of ~10 scores from yesterdays benching.

I hit the spot 3 times, but ORB didn't like two of them...

Figured it out guys...it's the patch for '03 that is snafu. Uninstall then reinstall '03 without the patch. You can then make public without further headaches.

I posted this on their forum as well...see what comes of it. Btw, Vantage also has this bug, but not as severe.

FYI, yesterday I installed the latest patch, ran 3dmark03 10 times in a row, and only 2 of 10 validations were publishable. So you can publish scores with the patch, but not all it seems... Now I don't know how much of this is update system not working, and how much is just ORB not working

Lose that patch XO - I never had a problem until I used it.
