Crew Olesius Posted May 17, 2010 Crew Posted May 17, 2010 Nice freq... did you test 60 chips?? do you sell me one of them? Quote
saeed0c Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 WOW NICE work!! I LOVE eBay!! no no sell it to me :LOL Quote
TaPaKaH Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I usually test Cedarmills in 2-3 stages Stage1: POST 5GHz on air with 1.45V (50% of CPU fail to do this, if a CPU can't do this, there's no way it's a 7.6+ LN2 chip) Stage2: DryIce suicide at 6.4GHz (20-30% of CPUs fail to do this, if it fails, even with perfect scaling it won't hit 7.6+ LN2) Stage3: the actual LN2 test I currently have 15 cedarmills (http://www.abload.de/img/dsc03822cmwn.jpg), ten of which still need sorting out. Majid OverC Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) Oo.h my God!!60 Chips?? me 10Cpus tested 631(L730A-SL9KG-D0)or 347 batche 2007-2008 not up Frq 6500. . . Edited May 18, 2010 by Majid OverC Quote
TaPaKaH Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) Majid, L710-8xx Malay are very consistent at 7.2-7.6 under LN2, but they're not 8G chips TerraRaptor, no motherboard mods are necessary for P5E3-Premium. You can set 2.1V direct from BIOS. Edited May 18, 2010 by TaPaKaH Quote
MaJ0r Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Congratz! My celeron 347 (7,56MHz) could overclock 5.1GHz under water on 1.35v. But my best CPU- P4 631 I didn't test that ) Quote
TaPaKaH Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 I wanted to say that L710Axxx Malay and everything later (including L8xxxxx) is rather boring. If you want gamble - look for China CPUs Quote
Majid OverC Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 ok thanks, fully realized.must gamble! yes China CPU Quote
TaPaKaH Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 DryIce 1.70-1.75, very rare CPUs scale above that Quote
quintus Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 hi, what do u think of higher factory clocked cedar mills, like 651 661 and the celly 360 and 365? thx Quote
TaPaKaH Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 overclocking will be same, batch range is more narrow, price is higher and the availability is worse - useless cpus Quote
