SamSaveMax Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 These 3 submissions are from the same computer, motherboard and the same rams...at various SuperPi speeds...with the same screenshots.....being used and submitted by the same team with 3 different user names. Is this even allowed? 1 - http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1014658_lamaocqq_superpi_core_i3_540_8sec_125ms 2 - http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1014729_hanghangaocqq_superpi_core_i3_540_8sec_140ms 3 - http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1014772_juehoaocqq_superpi_core_i3_540_8sec_172ms Quote
Crew stummerwinter Posted June 10, 2010 Crew Posted June 10, 2010 That's quiet abvious hardware sharing... A mod need to fix this (sry, not me)... Quote
sofos1990 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 It's obvious but can you prove it? Different bclk, different mem timings . If these results will be deleted more many should have the same end .... Quote
Hondacity Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 obvious sharing..one had the same icons..sheesh this is a bad violation of rules...team must be warned not to have this again Quote
BenchZowner Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 You can't prove it, like you can't prove other reported hardware sharing situations, right ? Quote
Hondacity Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 hwb crew should ask pics of cpu boxes and receipt photos... 30day notice like FDA or some other organizaiton Quote
Thor941 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 I think it is taken from that event : http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=249915 Quote
TinTin@OCQQ Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 I think it is taken from that event : http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=249915 What happened? I would like to know! Quote
BenchZowner Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Which brings back the topic about scores from events with hardware that the overclockers don't own shouldn't be submitted or awarded with points. Quote
K404 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 IMHO ,the punishments for hardware sharing should be much harsher. People submit results having ticked a box to say the submission complies with rules. 1st offence... warning. 2nd offence... 1-week ban. 3rd offence... 1-month ban. 4th offence... banned? Too lenient? Hardware sharing... Mip.... the people who do it are losers IMHO Quote
TinTin@OCQQ Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Which brings back the topic about scores from events with hardware that the overclockers don't own shouldn't be submitted or awarded with points. I don't quite understand, the event only run a few 3D06, and operated solely by me, and my own rig? How can it be shared? Can you give me some links for your claimed sharing score please? Quote
Thor941 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 ok so it is not taken from Tintin event I block the scores till I have more informations Quote
TinTin@OCQQ Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Pm Thx...those scores are not from my event! Quote
knopflerbruce Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 I think it's better that we discuss this in the mod section rather than having 200 people complain here There is a report button you can use - no need to make a witchhunt in the public forums... Quote
TinTin@OCQQ Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I also disqualified those scores! That's why i require them to submit results to HWBOT! Thanks guys to alert me the situation! Quote
Thor941 Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Got a PM from one of the guys, problem "solved" Quote
