TaPaKaH
http://hwbot.org/community/achievement/520_ Some guys (including me) have recieved an achievement by once making a mistake by submitting their scores, editing the score back to LN2 still keeps this achievement in your profile. Since we know all the guys who ever ran LHe so far, is there a "fix" possible to get rid of this achievement in my (and others') profile? Crew Antinomy Posted July 5, 2010 Crew Share Posted July 5, 2010 It's a more general bug - even if the submission for which you got the achievement was deleted or edited, the achievement doesn't update. So it's not only about LHe.
Maxi
Well you could always do a few runs on helium.
Massman
Cleaned up the achievements. IIRC, no one has submitted a LHe score with picture yet, so technically no one should be having this achievement .
Crew Antinomy Posted July 8, 2010 Crew Share Posted July 8, 2010 Massman, can you fix the bug? It's a common issue when the result was incorrect or fake and the person still has the achievement. For example, this one: http://hwbot.org/community/achievement/804_joined_the_8ghz_club Recently achieved: * rayhow on 24.06.2010. * Vedma on 17.06.2010. * ldany on 01.06.2010. Who are these people? Massman
I certainly can't, maybe RB. The problem is that calculating achievements is a very resource-intensive task. So, instead of re-calculating them all the time, the achievement is added to your profile from the moment you have it once. Of course this is a problem when achievements are given on a single-event basis (eg: one time LHe or one time 8GHz).

Crew Antinomy Posted July 8, 2010 Crew Share Posted July 8, 2010 Maybe recalculate them once a day or a week? When most sleep, I suppose about 2 AM GMT.
