  1. Just got the card, waiting for water block and will wait to push once I have it hooked up to an EVC and chilled water.
  2. I think that is a great way of stating it! And no one got shit on. Jesus Christ, you are getting softer with age.
  3. Jeez, Leeg - I usually appreciate your decisiveness and your reasoning and also am aware of the kind of fortitude your job at hwbot requires - we are some of the biggest assholes in the world (we can't all be kind hearted and gentle souls like Mr. Scott ;-). But in this case... I mean... the statement above about not blindly following the developers was a little disingenuous don't you think? Of course, 99% of us have no idea what this discussion looked like behind closed doors - I hope everyone walked away still friends. It's not like people are breaking down the door to become benchmark devs. Marco
  4. Thanks Phil/d0minat0r for the illuminating answers. I've still been unable to secure one of these beast cards (unless I want to pay scalper prices) and look forward to benching with one. Again, great score GKVV...
  5. Love the phase change setup man - great score!
  6. Amazing. I don't know the architecture since I don't have a 5090 but how are you able to pull LN2 scores with chilled water? There is no thermal throttling? Also, how are you getting around limits? For example, look at OGS in #2 - he has a Galax card - we can assume they supplied a special BIOS or it has a software utility that allows him to work the magic - but I don't even see an Elmer's EVC connected to your Astral so how does it work? ASUS supply an unlocked BIOS? Sorry for the dumb questions - like I said - no 5090 RTX for me yet so super ignorant at the moment. Maybe this is like the situation with ECC on 4090 RTX? Anyways, amazing score - congrats.
  7. LOL - I just realized you asked this a year ago. My bad.
  8. I bought one of these: S&A 7L Industrial Water Chiller CW-5200DH It's competitively priced, the pump eliminates any need for any other pump in your loop - when I have to empty it to move stuff around - once I refill it and turn it back on it is so powerful that there are no bubbles in my loop anywhere - like instantly - and the barbs on the back are just like the ones you most likely use in your loop. Performance is great and easily modifiable. Also looks cool 😉 Marco PS: I've had Hailea and various other chillers in the past - it's nice having the integrated pump. It's literally plug and play. Remove your pump, remove your radiator, plug it into your loop - tada. Worst documentation of all time but YouTube will solve all your problems.
  9. good luck - if you do it I look forward to seeing your scores. Will set records for sure.
  10. You mean you wanna replace the memory with the stuff on the 4080 Super? Not only difficult but expensive :-)
  11. Nice job, man... who will blow their 4090 first? ;-)
  12. I'm close to LA but if I push any harder I will probably burn my house down. I don't know how you run you memory so high - even with more volts I can't get past 1500.
  13. I see - I assumed the absence of the specific text implied that it was mandatory. Of course, I think I tend to just look at the screenshot and not much else. Thanks for pointing that out. Well now I know 🙂
  14. Can someone help me understand why - for example the Port Royal requirements of showing two separate tabs of GPU-Z - one with initial information and the other tab showing all the hardware sensors - there are so many entries that still only show one tab? I always thought that the required information had a red box around it and anything with a green box was a suggestion (or maybe it is the other way around) and if there were no red or green boxes than everything is mandatory. So how is a submission valid without both tabs? I'm not trying to start trouble - in fact I'm thinking that I'm totally misunderstanding the requirements myself wouldn't mind knowing so I don't state something that isn't true. Thanks in advance! Marco
  15. Thanks Papusan, This one has ECC on: https://hwbot.org/submission/5752265
  16. This is from the rules page for this benchmark. Not sure why yours is allowed to stay - I know why mine doesn't - but it was an honest mistake. So don't try and suggest I was "slipping one through" - I'm not Russian.
  17. Again, just to be clear, I didn't report yours for old 3dmark version. I could care less. It was that your sceenshot didn't follow the rules.
  18. Honest mistake. Thanks for catching it, Papusan. I had ECC on but then when I flashed to new BIOS it obviously didn't carry over. I can't imagine I'm the first one to have done this.
  19. ASUS 1000W BIOS, 2.5 Degree chilled water and an incredible fear that this would be the end of my 4090 ;-) But woohoo my first Hall of Fame entry! (for as long as it might last)
