  1. I think the UFL should not be free because any people (good or no good overclocker) will join, only to say is part of the league.

I believe, in my humble opinion, that the hwbot should select the members of the UFL, and only the overclockers should participate with good results.

But as I said, it's just my opinion

P.S. will HWbot keep our achievements???

Hmmm......segragation by caste system, yeah, that's gonna make you a lotta friends. People will be beating down the doors to get in there.

Sorry Alex, but your solution here doesn't agree with the rules.

3.4. Unlocked CPUs and Modded Video Cards

Again this is a subject where we have to trust on the honesty of the submitter; if you have a CPU with unlocked multiplier, please only submit results under the hardware category of its original model. Don’t emulate other models to gain HWboints, if you are caught you will get penalized or even banned. The same goes for video cards which are modified either with a flashed BIOS or modded software, post your scores in the category of the original hardware.

  3. To avoid this kind of massive attacks in the future, I'd like to see Team Captains take responsibility and ease down the crowd so the staff and the involved team members could come to an agreement. A Team Captain calling upon the support of all members to riot against HWBOT, like here ...

... makes it all the more difficult to find a solution as the key messages get lost in the flood of hate-messages. It's already quite difficult to communicate on the internet, having a discussion about a delicate subject with a couple of dozen angry forum members just makes things even more difficult.

    Thanks! :)

You might be able to control content here, but you have a snowballs chance in hell of controlling content on somebody else's site.:P

I dig my new user title BTW. It's much classier than just calling me some profanic name.;)

  4. Moderating at HWBOT isn't exact science. Sadly enough, we don't have the support of a scientific research team to find fingerprints or dna-evidence.

It's a pity, would've really loved to see an episode of 'CSI The Bot'.

I understand that, but consistancy in enforcement can be upheld.

Also, I find the sarcasm you use when backed into a corner, amusing.

  5. This might be one of the most ridiculous things I've seen HWBot do in my time here.

Its 2 different people, with separate hardware, on the same team, end of story. They're playing by the rules in place, and to try and separate her from the team based someone else's perceived idea of possible hardware sharing is absurd.

    This. ^^^

You've always stated that HWBot will take no action without undeniable proof......well, show the proof that they're sharing, or have intent to share.

  6. There are already plenty of hwbot submissions that are not 100% correct that are being given rewards (just browse the databse and you will see it yourself) It is not what I desire, but it is the reality that we have to deal with.

What I proposed is just one way of handling all those faulty submissions.

I HAVE seen it for myself. I report a few every day. Unfortunately, trying to get them fixed takes an act of congress, because everybody has an excuse. Rewarding faulty submissions is not the cure, it's welfare, and will stop nothing.

  7. Instead of thinking "all or nothing" regarding benchmark scores that are not 100% correctly validated I think it would make more sense to add a 20-30% point penalty to such scores of they don't seem to be suspiciously high. That way those scores could still remain in the database and be awarded some points, but the incentive to always submit correctly validated scores would still remain more or less the same, even in relation to future rule changes. :-)

Ridiculous. You want to reward entries with errors now? Bring it on. I can make a lot of mistakes.:P
