  1. maybe, youve only seen the tip of the iceberg so far imo
  2. Bit optimistic about 8 gig 8 err I mean 4 cores 8 clusters through 3d there aren't you....
  3. Fun cpu's to OC becasue its a challenge........ 920 DO AMD phenom II X2 550 (non BE) LLano ES ( if you lock multi to retail ) 939 just about all of them Preety much anything that has a high enough multi to make it fun but low enough to still make it a challenge............etc something that the finest of tuning can and will change the outcome. Everything else is just a binning game where money just flat out ruins the fun and sport of it......... Funnest vga's to clock 8800gt 512 and 4850, cards that binning just for a good core means shit, quality of mods and amount of mods and ram play a huge role as well.......
  4. From what I can see on this board with all the bios's avail the maxxes we should see are providing retail cpu and locked gpu base clock at 600. Vantage 7000-7100 ( <-- this bench run back to back 3 times when you get it stable, no clue why but scores get better until after 3rd run ) Heaven roughly 310-315 ( this bench is brutal, doesn't scale much best score done on first run, tesselation off in CCC obviously ) 3d11 1870-1900, ( same as vantage, run it back to back ) This is all stuff I tested at 161 bclk at 2500+ ram, 161 seems to be a hard wall for 3d. I would focus on bclk at highest ram possible. Ditch the high cpu speed and tight primary timings, it plays little role here. Hope this helps.
  5. We are all preety educated here on what is and is not possible and therefore further proof is not really needed in most cases. It's never wise to jump to conclusions till the math is done however. It can make you and or the other party look bad. After the what is and or is not possible is determined the next obvious step is to determine how and why, if the score was in no mans land say 745,00-750,000 effeciency range which would more than likely indicate a run done in the "middle" it could very well be written off as a bugged run. That sort of narrows a bug out of the picture. I stick by my final math though, the effeciency is to "spot on" when you calculate it at 51X. Whether it was a turbo issue or intentional is up to hwbot admins.
  6. I scanned the rankings, best i saw for effec was a 5500 run at 138.076. That said I tend to agree, maybe turbo kicked in by accident................ Some quick math. The run I looked at effeciency rating ( lower is better ) 754,918 The run in question. 740,188 Thats got to be one hell of a tweak. More math. Add 51X muti to the score in question. effeciency = 755204. hmmmmmmm............... *Edit* keep in mind I scanned the rankings in the 5500 cpu range and took the best from that range, Effeciency is not always linear and best compared around the same clock speeds.
  7. Not just phantom for ln2 cooling .com We have a few revs for ln2 and a few LHE designs and some other interesting yet never publicized stuff Not my company btw, just a supporter of a product that works.
  8. You guys are no fun. It takes ballz ballz ballz of steel to wait to the last second and pray that the server traffic due to everyone logging in to find the out come doesn't slow it down so bad that the submit barely makes the timeline. True story.
  9. Who wants to buy some skill for $700 dollah. I will overnight it.
  10. One thing you just never know is what the hell chew* is gonna do next........ The million dollar questions are. Does he have an MSI board? What would that result be in a proper OS tuned? Will leeghoofd ever come out of the closet?

  12. Here's my unnofficial 3D 11 entry. Have fun guys. Fm link http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1629967
  13. I have 4 580 ref for sale full mods cheap.......
  14. chew*, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: 1. You suck. 2. Your a noob. 3. Massman hates you. Wow, the forum just rick rolled me.
  15. The plot thickens...... Not his validation link.... http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2193824_toorope_cpu_z_4x_core_i7_2600k_5928.77_mhz In fact all of them are some other users name for the most part. Only CPu-z submissions...... http://www.hwbot.org/user/toorope/ Same team diff member, there is a 555 BE result that sticks out like a sore thumb ( it's on DI ) versus all his air scores. Also not his user name in cpu-z......verifying others he used his "name" http://www.hwbot.org/user/kof03/ http://www.hwbot.org/submission/1049367_kof03_cpu_z_phenom_ii_x2_555_be_5227.29_mhz Same team again. This user. http://www.hwbot.org/user/chuky394/ Has this Cpu-z submission and the valid name is that of another user on same team named morel david who uses david4820 in his validations. http://www.hwbot.org/submission/1050019_chuky394_cpu_z_phenom_ii_x6_1055t_5334.3_mhz
  16. Someone stealing a validation link from SF3D or am i going crazy? http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2193826_toorope_cpu_z_4x_a8_3850_5278.34_mhz
  17. yah I would have thought a mod would have fixed this by now...... I did try to edit to 6x cores......option unavaliable. Mod will have to fix it.
  18. Heh that never stopped me.......if a product sux I say so, don't like it oh well, make a better product. I don't care what company it is, there's 2 ways for them to respond to a bad review. 1. Screw this guy no more soup for him. ( immature way ) 2. They take it as constructive criticism and improve future products ( smart way ) All you accomplish by bending over and prepping your ass with vaseline for a company is not help to improve/innovate products. However this is off topic now. Sin as far as bclk at 250 how was effec at 250? Didn't test that did you Lucky thing is I did and it sucked so 250 bclk is useless other than a cpu-z which IIRC even 254 is possible on bloomfield. Unfortunately cpu-z is just 1 bench of many so me personally since it does not represent the "majority" I don't waste mine or readers time on it. Does it really matter? No.......gulftown is not an issue bclk wise nor does it have the issues bloomfield has so hitting 250 bclk with gulfy is irrelvant despite you boasting that it does it. The reality is however no one benches 3d on bloomfield anymore so normal QPI is also irrellavant. The other reality is most chips will hit frequncy limit before bclk limits.......
  19. Which is why when you test you do a CPC comparison and hope that both boards acchieve the same speeds. If you look around I compared both boards at the same clocks..........I just didn't include a fancy graph with both. moral of story, they trade blows.
