You lost a good chip, huh Sam? Congrats dread, awesome CPU mate -
They are lightning versions as far as I remember from Vince's livestreams Here in Greece they are still in stock: 1) http://www.cld.gr/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=3113&category_id=209&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 2) http://ca-microland.skroutzstore.gr/p.MSI-VGA-N275GTX-LIGHTING-DDRIII-1792MB-448BIT.96983.html

Great benching CAL930-san! Do you think that WR is possible? If only you could squeeze 50MHz or even more! -
Achievements - What do you want?
George_o/c replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions
That's exactly what I had in my mind! The person that has collected most hwbot points with S478 processors for example, should definitely get an achievement! One like "S478 King", that would sound REALLY nice! Then you could also have achievements for benchmarks who don't receive any points: Sandra, PCMark04, PCMark Vantage I second that Tudor -

6.1GHz Vantage CPU test is average for these? OMG then we're talking about a golden batch. Even 5.95 Vanage is quite nice, in comparison with other crappy CPUs we have seen! Congratulations Andre, sick CPU man! -
Killer idea there Frederik, one of the best and most rational I've ever heard! That way, the guys who are fully supported by manufacturers and think of overclocking as a profession should enter the pro league. As a community we can't draw a line as to who is considered to be "supported", therefore we should let them decide by themselves. Moreover, whoever feels like he's got the guts to be pro should first aim to join top50 in the amature league, and secondly if he still feels like joining the pros he should wait till the end of the season or something With the above-mentioned way, pros stay out of amature league and more importantly, heavily sponsored guys stay out of the amature league. For all us cheap-ass overclockers there is still fun out there, NOTHING is changing! Lots of crappy hardware to buy, inexpensive CPUs, retro VGAs to mod & bench. I mean, come on, admit it... We still get to have fun and can also admire our favorite team/overclockers in the professional league! And in case you feel like competing with the pros? Spend money (just like they did in the past) to buy expensive hardware, equipment, LN2 dewar, collect as many points as you can so that you enter top50 in amature league and then aim for da big championship

Good! Dinos, do you think 7GHz is doable with 665Ks? I'm not referring to this one specifically, generally talking -

Chuck I heard that MSI Big Bang XPower is going to be officially announced really soon (one even said this week) so yeah, I wouldn't call it a beta board. Good work Massman, it for sure looks like a solid board. I've silently been following the thread since you started it and if XPower's price is rational, lots of people will buy it
