Looks like due to my vacation in June I won't be able to take Friday off and fly in Thursday night. Would it be worth it if I could fly in later Friday evening? EDIT: Guess what I'm saying will I miss all the fun stuff coming in that late? If not, I'll book today/tomorrow and tickets to confirm I would be going.

Very close to going, finalizing the hours at work. I have an older dewar that I've never used and don't know what the seal is like but think it's either 30l or 50l. If I go I will flying in so can't bring it but will be in Chicago at some point the next two weekends, so any Chicago heads that are driving and would like an extra dewar, I can drop it off while I'm up that way.

ASRock Z97 OC-F sold to Hilderman

I suppose that is the determination of yourself or any potential buyer. All results posted above were with that chip and that motherboard. No other ASRock OC-F or 4790K was used nor do I own. I also have a Samsung based GSkill kit that was very easy to achieve 2800c9. Only thing I ever felt held back by this chips IMC was I was told the OCZ set could do 2666mhz 8-11-7 tWCL= 6 but I never could get could tRCD value down to 11 @ 2666mhz.

Correct, no cold only EK Supremacy with 2x140rad (4x fans) on Dimastech open bench in normal room temps, nothing special. I'll look over any offer but I'm a little firm right now as I feel most of this stuff is already priced to move. Regarding the motherboard specifically this will be full box so take that into account when thinking about shipping that is included.

2k finally broke! :celebration: I keep wanting to move away from this platform for others right now but the fact that I can try to hunt down a cheap RAM kit and get way better scores is really sucking me in! Has anyone noticed a difference between 2x2gb and 2x4gb? Between both scores and speed potential?

Ran a few quick and dirty runs last night on the same OS as my FS runs and juuuust broke 13mins. No tweaking in OS or even BIOS, just run volts and up multi. Don't have a screen but had CPU @ 5200mhz, RAM @ 1200mhz and NB @ 1600/1800mhz (can't remember but didn't manually set, just auto). So now I do feel better about getting that low, just didn't think Kaveri was gonna scale that well. Guess now I have something else to aim for Also, I'll stop talking Pi, gotta keep this thread 3D! :nana:

Yep, that is the real factor in uncorking these guys. Not sure if it's pure "IMC" or if it's the memory component of the iGPU. Guess I could start running Super Pi with iGPU disabled to see if it starts scaling past ~2666mhz. EDIT: I also did some tests to see if lowering amount of RAM dedicated to iGPU would help scale mhz but didn't notice anything.

Strong, strong core. I may just have to run down to MicroCenter tomorrow and pick up a 7870K

You're one of the reasons that I still want to keep AMD parts around. Fired up the Kaveri rig again last night and thought I was getting 1320mhz on RAM to pass FS but seems it was a fluke. Gonna stop testing FS and move on to other benches. Heard about the new 7890K and thought about getting one at release but think I'm gonna hold off till AM4. Really enjoying doing iGPU benching! Like I mentioned previously, next iGPU rig will be the Kabini setup but don't think I can get the phase strapped to it just due to mounting.
