REV4 up and running! Questions, suggestions, feedback goes in here
TaPaKaH replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Rev.4
Example: http://hwbot.org/user/turrican/ I think it would be a good idea if a total sum of one's hardware and global points could be visible in their profile, not only those that count towards the pro/overclocker/enthusiast ranking. (otherwise the hardware masters rank doesn't give you insta-updates so you don't know how much hardware points exactly you have gained) -
on the all CPU-z submissions, canardpc-generated CPUz screenshot doesn't work example: http://hwbot.org/submission/2177166_ verification screenshot is this link... http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/screenshot/1855306.png.jpg ... which doesn't work

yes, what's the batch of this cpu ? -
you don't need the screenshot for the submission, the validator link is enough if you want a cpu-z shot real bad - then you can use this: http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/screenshot/1863917.png

the right sidebars doesn't work properly here on Opera 9 too, instead of being on the right, the ranks are at the bottom of the page http://www.abload.de/img/11nw6.jpg http://www.abload.de/img/2luh3.jpg

Another idea, when some submission is open, for example this one I'd like for page title be something like "Splave's 8800GTS 512 in 3DMark03" (like it was in rev3) and not "Hardware news, Overclocking Competitions, Reviews" like it is now ...helps me browse faster when I have 10-20 submissions open -
may be this was already reported, but: in VGA categories where CF or SLI is possible, sorting with "Number of cores -> Any" (the default option) doesn't work right example: http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocard/geforce_8800_gt_512_mb/ 114k - 122 - 122 - 114 - 119 etc.

as Massman said, hardware libraries will come only with rev 4.1 which is planned to be released @ 1 July -
http://hwbot.org/team/speedtime_cn/ http://hwbot.org/team/speedtime.cn/ two teams with same name ?

there's a little mess in the hardware categories http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/core_2_e6600_2.4ghz/ http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocard/geforce_gt_240_gddr3 etc it shows WR and global userpoints instead of hardware points

any reason why you run memory so "tight" ? -

+1, starting a VGA hardware page with a 3DMark99 list (which is almost always empty) sucks -
may be this was already reported, but in threads like this one I don't see any sign of the original material like there used to be in the rev3. screenshot , browser = opera 9

UP - user global and hardware points (same as in rev3)TPP - ("new" points) team power global/hardware points which are awarded based on competition between teams (best result from each team counts) and not members you can view how many TPP you've earned for your team if you select "Rank by -> team" instead of "Rank by -> user" (default) Example: http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/core_2_e8600_3.33ghz/#rankBy=teams (#1 CPUz on E8600 gives 19.9 TPP + 49.8 UP, so its contribution for NBCL team is 24.88 points) and that's the flaw with rev4 ... ~28K single GPU vantage is more worthy for the team compared to 6.8GHz on E8600 -

like I said on MSN a million times, I don't like the global/hardware TPP distribution I don't think that any hardware category (including the 50-pointers) gives as much hardware TPP as hardware UP, so all grinding now brings even less points to the team than in rev3 but on the other hand, global TPP is roughly ~3x higher than global UP ... meaning that teams with marketing pimps onboard have a nice handicap -
http://hwbot.org/user/turrican/ -> Hardware library if you click on hardware categories that have "." in its name - you'll get an error
