  1. My bad. I guess I'm too used to seeing 1.x versions of Corsair DDR1
  2. These are properly mad clocks for Winbond. Have you tried max at 2-3-2-x?
  3. Briefly tested this chip on LN2 for the Team Cup. Passed R15 at full NB and mem clocks at 5.95GHz 1.8V. CBB is around -135, CB is -175 to -165 in dual channel, depending on Vtt and Vmem used.
  4. If such an exploit were to exist, it's extremely unlikely that it would remain obscure for all these years given the popularity of low-end AM3 chips among daily users and locked Semprons among overclockers.
  5. The whole "fun" of that platforom is supposed to be its simplicity
  6. RAM walls at 920-940MHz are absolutely normal for Deneb and there is nearly nothing you can do about it. Some newer boards like 990FX can do a dozen MHz more than 790FX but it won't give you a noticeable difference, especially that newer chipsets tend to be a little bit less efficient at the same clocks.
  7. Up for sale is a Core i7-980X CPU, batch 3005F802. On air the CPU does 32M at 4.5GHz 1.31V and 246MHz BCLK. On single stage (evap temp -41..-39c, peak load core temps around -15..-10c) the CPU does 32M at 5.22GHz 1.55V and 5.30GHz 1.60V. Asking 140 Euros + shipping.
  8. Price reduced to 40 + shipping
  9. I'm surprised you even got this far. X58 usually doesn't work on LN2 at all unless you run FSB at near 200. Usual multis for 980X are x31 or x33 in such a case.
  10. started slowly testing boards on FSB, P5E3-Premium does at least 630 32M
  11. I reckon people prefer KO-8155 on G.Skill because that's the only type of PCB they used on 2400C8 and 2400C9 PI. So every time they buy 2200C7 with KO-8155 they must think that these are just underbinned 2400C8 On practice, there is hardly any difference between the three (8155, 8117, ST). On kits like 2200C7 PI that came in all three variants, week is a much better indicator of IC quality than PCB. Also, my best PSC stick ever was a 8117 so ...
  12. None of the sticks in lot #35 have any issues with booting at 1.8V. I have only tested them quickly with test #5 of DOS MemTest at 550 4-4-4 2.30V - none of them passed so I did not proceed with 32M testing. I reckon that most of them will still do 32M at 500 4-4-4 with 2.18V.

Passes SuperPI 32M at 1200 7-11-7 1.68V and 1333 8-12-8 1.91V. PCB is KO-8155. https://abload.de/img/snaphsot0002bae0l.png https://abload.de/img/snaphsot0005usi1y.png Asking 40 Euros + shipping

  15. Up for sale are two 6GB (3x2GB) kits of Corsair Dominator GT 2000 7-8-7. https://abload.de/img/img_20180830_170211014veq3.jpg Note 1: some sticks have bent fins, that can be fixed Note 2: all tests are done on an Maximus VII Impact board (Z97) which is not the best choice for Hypers, so results should be better on X48 / Z77. Set #1 - batch 09480015. SOLDStick A : 32M at 1100 7-8-7 1.74V, fails MemTest up to 1.80V, JEDEC specs are fine Stick B : 32M at 1100 7-8-7 1.75V, also passes MemTest at 1.73V Stick C : 32M at 1100 7-7-6 1.76V, also passes MemTest at 1.73V Set #2 - batch 09480226. 70 Euros + shippingStick A : DOA, code 55. 16. I see there is quite a pile-up in the thread and in my PM inbox of people willing to buy the same items. To avoid confusion and/or frustration, I am going to process one purchase request at a time, in the order that they came in. So it might take time (up to a few days) for me to respond to some messages. In case item you wanted is already gone, you will be given first hand in selecting from possible alternatives. The "queue" at the moment is: (note that this forum engine doesn't allow to extract the precise timestamp of a message, so I'll just use "X hours ago" with current time as a baseline) TAGG - private message 12 hrs ago. Transaction is finalised. sale_quiche - private message 12 hours ago. Transaction in progress. GtiJason - private message 7 hours ago. ChilliMan - private message 6 hours ago. lanpartyut - thread post and private message 3 hours ago. ozzie - thread post 2 hours ago.
  17. @Noxinite: I wasn't explicitly targeting your record. I haven't tried a single stick for max clocks or at voltage higher than 2.3V in my testing. My goal was to find a replacement / backup for my set of 8000 Ballistix that I had for more than a decade now. That set has recently stopped booting at 1.8V which made board and CPU testing quite annoying (since you have to troubleshoot RAM). I found and bought three comparable sticks, the rest is for sale here. I am not hoarding good D9GMH, nor do I distribute these among some secret circles. I want to give everyone an equal chance so I am responding to messages / am finalising the transactions in "first come first serve" order.
