didn`t work for me under Xp allways getting that error : D3D Error E_OUTOFMEMORY (3865) Does some now an fix for that (and don`t say use vista Or win7) Edit found the error (197.75 didn`t work , but 275.33 does the job very well )

Maybe we need something like we have on Unigine . And small program wich starts PCM . But that is only one solution. And ban all tweaks wouldn`t help there will be allways an way to tweak any benchmark. So that would be an wrong way to go. But some clear Rules about Subtests would help but there is no perfect solution , only an improvement .

Lod for PCM05 is different than for any Bench , setting lod in + area gives not that much of an boost than setting it into - area (-3 to -7). (only for Ati) And S_A_V i gave Karl the info about how i got that virus scan score so high. http://hwbot.org/forum/showpost.php?p=121341&postcount=7

Video encoding is oky you need the last FM systeminfo update , without it video encoding and audio conversion test uses only 2 cores. After that it can handle way more http://www.3dmark.com/support/systeminfo-updates/

Yes it works but i can`t run an higher BCLK than 104.8mhz with that divider.

Look @ my run 1st place , not my best i have an Backup with 103823 points. Too bad that Ref. can`t power that gpu. mine did 940/2350 on H20 @ 1.27 - 1.32v easy.

Yes 173.68 has no CH bug , and that one works if you ad the id`s with all Cards up to the G9x series (single card , dual only on an 790 or 680 chipset).

And you should not delete your entry`s because it`s your card. Mr. Scott should delete his 3 entry`s because it isn`t his card he used. If only one is deletet of 3 entry`s he will get points for his lower score of the other entry`s. And Mr.Scott it is right that i can`t decide what to do , i send Pieter and Karl an PM about that. You say you know what i meant oky that says alot about that. Do what you want the Staff will decide. You should know what happend to the last guy and his team , who did something like that. No you don`t understand it both of you getting these points 0.8 and 1.5 and the competition has nothing to do with that because 2 team members are getting points for the Same card in the Same Category (3DM01 , look @ my link maybe you understant it) When the competition is over you 2 had these points for ya Team . You both forget Something , if you upload an Score for an competition you get points for the Competition , and for the Bench it self (if you whant that, there was an button as ou uploaded the Score , where is written that : [ ]Do NOT participate in hwbot rankings. and both of you did not marked it . So both of you get the points even when there will be no Competition. MrPaco is ranked 2 of 6 with one 7950GT AGP and gets 1.5 hwboints Mr.Scott is ranked 4 of 6 with one 7950GT AGP and gets 0.8 hwboints Both entry`s are done with one card and when you Upload your scores you acceptet the Rules for 3DM01 regardless of the Competition they Say : 4. If Mr.Scott gets no points it would be Oky , but he gets points with an card which is 1. not his card 2. was used by another member (MrPaco) 3. Both getting points with the Same card in 3DM01 regardless of the Competition. That is against the Rules , and there is no point of saying that is oky it is not. Remove that score , because that is Hwsharing regardless of this Competition because Exactly the Same card was used to get 2 scores for 2 Teammebers and both are getting points.

Which did the same as the WMV9 Powertoy , it allows the Video encoding test to run @ more than 2 cores (tested it with an 980x and works even with 12 cores)

@ Pieter Well i see that from an different point , it is an trick oky that is correct. I see it equal as other benchers. But the point is if you show in the details that you stay under your Real Freq. Example : Cpu is running @ 5500.00mhz and test shows 5499.99Mhz why should it be Wrong to allow it. I see it like i run that freq. and only the program has an problem to read it Right so there is nothing wrong by helping the programm read the Freq right. The same thing happend @ FM benches with an old FM systeminfo it reads it wrong and the test is a bit slower (i can confirm it in PCM05 and other benches ). But with an actual update scores are higher. Example PCM05 with an old one , Video encoding is slow around 1xxx. with an new one it is around 2xxx or more than 3xxx depending wich cpu and speed is used. Because it uses only maybe 2 cores without , and even on an 980x with it uses all cores. So what will be if all say there it is oky and on the old benches no that is not oky that it knows the real cpu speed. You didn`t get points only cups or medals , thats it . Oky if someone runs his Cpu @ 5500mhz and that test shows more than it is not oky that is the way how i see it. I can also tell you how i found that out with the Cpu freq detection , i was allways wondering that i had my Cpu @ 5.5ghz but 3DM99 and 2000 reads only cpu Freq without turbo wich is 3400mhz if Blck is 100.00 , you could rename the exec but it will not really know what freq your cpu is really running at. But than i had spi running (forgot to close it) and started 3DM2000 and saw that it reads more than normal (around 4500mhz ) Than i tested it how that happend and i found out that the more load on the Cores where 3DM99 & 2000 is started the more freq is read. Oky some call it an cheat other an trick i see it twice if freq is below real it is an trick , if it is higher it is an Cheat. So maybe we should talk about if it is correct to run an bench @ Freq your cpu is running @ or not. I know that alot guys in the Hall of fame (3DM99 & 2000) have not an freq of 3400 or 34 x Blck thay set. That is oky because some guys think there scores are oky but others that show there freq. and had also more are not oky like my WR wich was done with an Cpu Freq of 5.25ghz and Bench @ 5.05ghz . So we need here Clear rules that all show the Freq what the bench reads in Details. Than we can talk about what ist oky and what isn`t.

Well the old 478 3DM01 record is Gone , i know matti broke it last Night , The problem is not to go higher but to get the mem Running right . Above some point the high tests loose around 50%. I know there is much more possible , His Clock/Performance is Really good. His XE Chip Can`t change multi upwards. Two things are needed for that Board an Vmem + an Vcpu mod. Than 35k should be easy do able. Too bad that Board has an problem with some Gpu`s. But i know matti gives his Best , and if not i kick him *joke* or Help him, we will see^^
